The whole building needs renovated. It smells, the carpets were sticky, the refrigerator and air conditioner did not work and the shower head was coated with scum. The room seemed overall dirty.

We arrived close to midnight, the hotel entrance was dark, yellow caution tape was draped in front of entrance. I walked across the grass, past the tape and door did open automatically - I was glad for that. The attendant came to desk after I rang the bell, and got us registered. Said they painted the front concrete entry, reason for the caution tape. (Lighting would have helped.....) Hotel room light was flickering - thought this might have been part of Holloween decor. The hollways smelled of smoke - like there were likely smokers staying in rooms. Bed was comfortable - looked like the room was in need of renovation, as was the hallway and most of hotel. The photo on Expedia's page did not represent appearance of this hotel.....

When we checked in, room had cracked sink, bath fan hanging down, looked in general disrepair. We asked to get moved to another room. Second room had stained sheets and flickering lights in bath and hallway. Had to request new sheets and changed bedding ourselves. Pillows were hard and uncomfortable, We ended up making our own pillows with our clothing. Staff took no responsibility and were disinterested in serving us. Breakfast was okay. We left a day early rather than spend another night there, Since we paid in advance through Expedia, no refund was offered. We have used Expedia for over 10 years with no complaints up to this point. The hotel was definitely sub par compared to our normal experience. Also sub par to a La Quinta Hotel we stayed at earlier in the week in Virginia which was wonderful.
