"Best bits: * the cafe does great wood fried pizzas on tuesday night * excellent location on main street of daylesford *. Lots of parking To improve * uncomfortable bed. Stayed in the ‘Sapphire Rooms’. My wife couldn’t sleep * when we arrived reception was unattended and no call bell. When staff memeber arrived they handed us the room key & gave us the wrong directions to the room *. There was very minimal natural light in the room. It was winter but we opened the door so we could see some views & get some light"

"Beautiful room. Clean, well appointed and full of comforts. Missed a traditional shower . My wife LOVED the bath! Easy access. No contact wth staff except via message bank. The electricity blew at 8am on the final morning. Left a note. Great parking. Wonderful resturants in town. Highly recommended."

"The property was a bit tired, clean and fine. The bed was very uncomfortable for me and my wife so we didn't quite get the full R&R we'd hoped for. I'm guessing the bed is quite old, it was saggy on each side with a raised section in the middle which is typical for old beds, so not easy to get a good night's sleep - and that is in the top couple of things we are after in accommodation. Spa tub was hot, everything easy otherwise, though I did feel like no-one checked the freezer seeing as there were an ice cube missing from the ice tray and a couple of golden gay time ice creams in an open packet. "
