We paid for the second floor room (a more decent and cleaner room) but what the attendant gave us was that in the first floor where unpleasant rooms are located. The attendant justified that she has no cellphone with her to verify which room we booked but ironically, she said our booking is confirmed.

Diese Unterkunft ist wirklich nur etwas für kurze Aufenthalte. Wer nur auf der Durchreise ist kann hier sehr günstig übernachten. Für alles ab mehr als 3-4 Tagen nicht empfehlenswert. Die Zimmer sind, bis auf wenige Ausnahmen, sehr klein und man hat keine Möglichkeiten seine Sachen unterzubringen. Das Bad entspricht den philippinischen Verhältnissen, man sollte also sehr niedrige Ansprüche haben um damit zufrieden zu sein. Immerhin funktionierte alles. Schimmelige und mit Flecken übersäte Matratzen machen den Aufenthalt nicht gerade zu einem Erlebnis. Einen Zimmerservice gibt es nur nach Beauftragung. Das Personal war aber stets sehr freundlich und immer bemüht uns sehr flexibel zu helfen. Warmes Wasser kann man gegen Aufpreis an der Rezeption erhalten. Wi-Fi funktionierte sehr gut auf allen Zimmern. Die Umgebung ist eine Katastrophe. Wenn man in der Regenzeit zur Unterkunft möchte sollte man Gummistiefel dabei haben, denn es wird eine Schlammschlacht. Als besonderes Schmankerl hat man die Möglichkeit die toxischen Dämpfe der Müllfeuer einzuatmen, die die Nachbarn gerne veranstalten. Einziger Lichtblick hier, die zentrale Lage in der Stadt mit allem was man braucht, fußläufig erreichbar. Authentisches Mindanao- Erlebnis....
