This hotel is an excellent location. Unfortunately, our room was extremely tired, air vents and windows incl window joinery were very very dirty . There were cracks in skirtings and mould in the shower. I don't think the property justified the price charged.

Excellent location but a little noisy at times. Comfortable bed and good blackout curtains. Excellent shower with plenty of hot water. I appreciated the washer & dryer in my room. I felt safe here as an older solo female traveller.

On the plus side, the room is a good size and reasonable in its furnishing. On the negative side, the windows were filthy and it is impossible to get any fresh air. I didn't see a house-keeping person in the room for the four nights I stayed. The two separate card keys for the lift and room are annoying. I realize that it is the peak of the High/Dry Season. But the per room night is a complete rip off for the standard of the Mantra. The least they could do at the rate they charge is have a daily room service.

Hotel was clean. Bed was like a rock. Fire alarm went off at 2am an the building had to be evacuated. Thankfully, a false alarm. Would be a better hotel if they reopened their restaurant.
