There are people hanging out everywhere in the lobby, people outside, smoking cigarettes, talking on the phone at all hours. The felt very creepy in there. Did not feel extremely safe even though the location was close to the bridge in Dartmouth. Would not recommend.

The hotel has no elevator which is difficult for travellers with luggages. Breakfast is fair and the room I stayed, the heater/AC control was broken so they tried to fix it and they taught me how to change the temperature in the main unit. The staff were all polite and kind and friendly. All in all I would say 3.5 out of 5 stars.

The location has easy access to the highway as well as close to the ferry port. The hotel is older, and needs some cleaning if carpet stains, but the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and a good selection of hot and cold options for breakfast.

Other than google maps wanting to take us to the nearby Uhaul place across the street, we had a great experience. Checking in was seamless and the continental breakfast was better than most hotels in the same price point around North America that I’ve stayed in.
