「Worst hotel and rudest customer service in 25 years We were wrongfully charged for meals for an extra guest ! The hotel at Pelling said they couldn’t do anything abt it. So I called and emailed the Elgin main customer service at Kolkata couple of times. They were extremely rude, and hung up on me the first time, just after 3 minutes. I called hotels.com requesting a refund of the extra charges. Hotels.com agreed with us but the Elgin (Ms. Sonali) denied us any refund. I emailed the Elgin but...

「Great location and about 15 mins walk to the town center. We booked the Heritage rooms which had an old world charm with great views. The service was excellent and the staff extremely hospitable. Overall, a really good stay. 」
