"I stayed here for 1 night, just myself. The front desk clerk was courteous and very helpful. I liked that they had an indoor heated pool, and made use of it. The pool area wasn't the cleanest, and the pool itself could have used a good vacuum, but it was a nice time. There was excessive heatwave going on, but even though the room's air conditioner struggled to keep the room cool, it definitely worked. The room itself was dated, but the bed was comfortable and the shower functioned well.
I did not take advantage of the free breakfast, as they stopped serving at 9 am, and I slept in. There was coffee available in the lobby, so that was nice.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone on a budget passing through the area for 1 night; for any longer timeframe I would suggest a different venue, as there really wasn't much to do in the immediate area."
"Given the high cost of my child's travel sports tournaments I usually opt to stay at cheaper motels to save money. After some truly unpleasant experiences, I decided to spend more this year and stay at nicer properties with better reviews.
As the recent reviews for the Harrington Welcome Inn were very positive, and the cost was double what I have normally spent, I was hopeful that the accommodations would be far nicer than what we were used to. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case.
I spent a total of $440 for two nights.
The bad:
Our room had a really strong, musty odor of old cigarettes. Hairs and dirt particles in sheets & bathroom floor. Shower drain had black mold around it. The sink was clogged, slow to drain & gurgled up nasty gunk. Dirty stain in toilet at water level. No "Do Not Disturb" door hanger. Microwave was dirty. Exterior hallway and coin-operated laundry area were filthy with dirt, lint and bits of trash everywhere for the 3 days we were there. The one-ply toilet paper was awful.
The good:
Friendly staff, beds were comfortable, relatively quiet, great water pressure and bath towels were clean.
If I had paid around $100/night then I'd expect what I got and it wouldn't be a problem. But I paid double that and expected a room that didn't stink, was far cleaner than it was, a sink that drained properly and decent toilet paper. The property itself should have been a lot cleaner as well. Can't recommend at this price."
"The room was good sized, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet given it was on the Route 50 end of the building. I took a star off because of the breakfast. I am pretty easy to please for breakfast. The eggs at the Holiday Inn Express were really awful. The pool looked inviting but by the time I checked in, it was too late to use it."

"absolutely recommend this hotel, the price is fair and its conveniently located to restaurants, stores, a pharmacy is across the street. the staff is very friendly and helpful, breakfast was jut what we needed to start the day great variety and options of food, overall rooms are clean and spacious."
"Staff at reception were nery nice, breakfast food and staff good. Clean hotel. But horrible management. Hotel is overpriced. AC did not work well, gave us alternative rooms, and AC did not work well either. Things were just not kept in good shape. Light bulbs out, walls and furniture falling apart, clean but old sheets, machines at breakfast room that did not work and were still there... jacuzzi all green and in bad shape (not safe healthwise), restroom at pool site out of order... and a long etc... Very nice and helpful staff, cleaning crew did a great job, but hotel bad managed and falling apart."
"We were traveling with a large, heavy piece of medical equipment; staff were so helpful in unloading and reloading it from our car. We appreciated having a room convenient to parking.
The breakfast was better than most.
The room was quiet and comfortable."
