There was no mention of the hotel experiencing renovations when I made the reservation put the parking lot looked like a war zone! The business center was not accessible because it had renovation materials stored inside. The bathroom in my room had mold and peeling paint, along with a little 6-legged friend who dropped in to pay a visit while I was brushing my teeth. The breakfast that was supposed to be ready at 6AM wasn't ready until closer to 6:30AM so if you were counting on it being available early for your morning plans, you might not be eating that day. Accessing the internet wasn't easy, and the TV had no search function for the channels, and it was painfully slow to change between the 12 stations I was able to find - yes, that's right, 12. The area surrounding the hotel was a little sketchy and the only way I could shut the blinds in my room was to use a binder clip from some folders I had in my backpack. The person at the front desk was nice when I checked in.
The ratings showed 2.5 stars when I booked the reservation but I often find that I would rate them a little higher. The pictures looked okay so I was hoping this might be one of those hotel visits that was a little better than the rating. Sad to say, it was not, thus the 2-star rating
