"Good breakfast. Great location with ability to easily walk to restaurants and shops. The only complaint ( which only bothered us early in the morning) was the train horn is very loud in the hotel rooms. "

"There was a swarm of bugs in front of our room that were unavoidable to get through the door. The lock inside looked like it had been ripped off the door frame a few times. The paint job in the room was rushed and incomplete. It looked like there was a cockroach leg stuck to the wall in the shower. The employee who checked us in wasn't wearing shoes and had a general vibe of uncleanliness. The television wasn't set up in our room. The overall vibe of the hotel was so bad that we checked out a day early and got a room at a different hotel."

"I lived in Gainesville for 30 years. It was exciting to come home and see this beautiful hotel so conveniently located in the middle of downtown with access to restaurants and shopping! This is exactly where you want to be. The rooms are clean, large, well appointed, and quiet."

"Apparently the property was in the process of being changed over from a Super 8 to a Quality Inn. So there was a lot of construction and updating going on at the time. The breakfast was minimal but fine. The secure wifi was out for our entire visit and the public wifi was out for at least half of the time. While the hotels.com listing said the parking was free, we were charged $3/night fee on arrival. We asked about that on check out and a different employee refunded the fee. However, the employee who had originally charged us saw and was very disgruntled, saying she was told that should never be done, no matter what the website said. The room itself seemed reasonably clean. However we did get some strange bug bites while there (maybe spiders) and we found trash from previous occupants in drawers."

"The room looks fantastic. The best were very comfortable. There was no breakfast to speak of the rooms are in no way soundproof you hear everything from every other room. Bring earplugs. It’s in a great location though. "

"The staff were extremely helpful in sharing things to do in the area. We only stayed one night and the room was clean and the area was so quiet. We plan on staying here every time we visit Dahlonega!"
