「This is a unique place to stay and enjoy the true Namibian experience. The servers are quite attentive and friendly. The breakfast buffet is satisfying. Having an evening meal outside and looking the lights of Windhoek is a must thing. 」

There was a power outage in the valley when we stayed but it was no issue as they had a back up generator. 「I was bumped over to Movenpick, the sister hotel to Mercure on the shared property. Rooms at Movenpick have been redone and are nicely fitted out. The gym is awesome. The pool and pool area also awesome. There’s a coffee and pastry shop— excellent. And a nice restaurant whose primary fault is that there are only two fish dishes: Norwegian salmon and prawns. There’s a pizza place located within Mercure.」
