"It was terrible. I was told I would get a $200 refund after I signed out within 24 hours when I went to see what I have noticed that he did I was given the runaround."

"The property was undergoing renovation, which resulted in a strong paint odor. Unfortunately, the surroundings were not conducive to taking photographs, particularly given the occasion of a graduation. The renovation works did not meet my expectations. A dedicated area for food had been designated, but the selection was limited and lacked fresh fruit. Upon arrival, I felt disappointed."

"Awakened to a comforter normally covered in a clean bedsheet that had excrement and other stains on it. It was truly disgusting. Just because you put a clean sheet on the comforter doesn't make it sanitary. Gross"

"The entire property was beautiful, the staff was amazing, the FOOD oh my goodness, it was incredible. I only wish the menu had just a bit more of a selection!! I would love to see what else they have to offer. I did notice some dusty areas of the room that look like they just often get overlooked, nothing out of control. I did find a long hair in the bath tub.. but, I know things happen!! Now, there was one thing I had actual issue with, and it was the shower. The rainfall shower head had absolutely no water pressure whatsoever, half of the holes in the shower head were clogged so water really only came out of one section. It was extremely disappointing!"

"The room #840 was not up to the level of this high end Hotel! I would have had a nicer room at a local name brand hotel. The valet was great, front desk was nice but did not seem to mind putting us in this room. The Monarch had great staff and drinks were great! The hotel is great other than the old worn out #840"

"had a glitch @ check in where no rooms were clean. the two wonderful ladies working check in were spot on and were able to get the situation corrected in a timely fashion. "

"Great hotel located downtown close to all west Dallas for easy access to midtown. Breakfast is delicious and the supper is great too with wonderful room service. The staff is warm and welcoming. The room was nice and clean and made a cozy one day stay."
