I received a complimentary airport pick up and as well as a couple of bottles of complimentary drinking water. I was able to get a kettle in my room upon request, which I greatly appreciated. Miguel was very responsive to any questions I asked during my stay and booked a taxi for me to the airport upon concluding my time in Cusco. I highly recommend staying here....

Cusco Historic Center

Cusco's Historic Center captivates visitors with its extraordinary blend of Incan precision and Spanish colonial grandeur. Massive stone walls support ornate baroque churches while cobblestone streets wind past the magnificent Cathedral and golden Qorikancha temple ruins. Quechua traditions thrive alongside Catholic ceremonies in this living museum. The neighborhood invites exploration with artisan workshops tucked into San Blas' narrow alleys. San Pedro Market bustles with vendors selling colorful textiles and exotic fruits. At 11,200 feet elevation, the thin air creates a distinctive sensation that reminds travelers they're walking through centuries of remarkable Peruvian history.

San Blas

San Blas charms visitors with its steep cobblestone streets and colonial buildings nestled in Cusco's artisan quarter. Local artists display handcrafted textiles, ceramics, and silverwork in workshops where you can watch them create. The iconic San Blas Church stands as a cultural landmark with its ornate baroque pulpit. The neighborhood blends Spanish architecture with strong Quechua influences throughout its hidden plazas and colorful markets. Intimate restaurants serve fusion Andean cuisine while traditional music drifts from doorways after sunset. Walking from Plaza de Armas takes just 15 minutes uphill.

San Cristóbal

Perched on a hillside above Cusco, San Cristóbal offers breathtaking views and a peek into Peru's layered history. The iconic white Cristo Blanco statue stands tall against the sky, while ancient Incan walls blend with colonial architecture below. Cobblestone streets wind between weathered stone facades and traditional homes where local life unfolds. Visitors can explore the Pre-Columbian Art Museum and Plaza de las Nazarenas away from downtown crowds. Family-run restaurants serve authentic Peruvian dishes at reasonable prices. The neighborhood's strong Quechua influence provides a genuine cultural experience rarely found in tourist districts.

Primavera

Escape tourist crowds in Primavera, a peaceful residential neighborhood where local Peruvian life unfolds authentically. Just a short taxi ride from Cusco's historic center, this budget-friendly area offers a genuine glimpse into everyday family routines and traditions. Family-run guesthouses and small restaurants serve traditional Peruvian comfort food at neighborhood prices. The Inca Pachacutec Monument stands nearby, while mountain views reward those who explore the quiet streets. Morning walks reveal the gentle rhythm of community life.

Santa Ana

Santa Ana offers an authentic glimpse into Cusco's soul away from the tourist crowds. Colonial adobe houses with red-tiled roofs line narrow cobblestone streets that climb the hillside. The neighborhood's baroque church stands at the central plaza, showcasing a blend of Spanish and Indigenous artistry. Locals speak Quechua as they go about daily life. Traditional picantería restaurants serve hearty Andean dishes at local prices. Artisan workshops display handwoven textiles and ceramics made using centuries-old techniques. The steep streets reward visitors with breathtaking views across Cusco's rooftops to the surrounding Andean peaks.
