The lobby smelled of animal feces and the building looked like it should be condemned. There was no hot water and the entire place was freezing. I had just come back from the Inca trail with my family, and we all would have rather spent one more night on the trail instead of here in the interest of cleanliness and comfort. I have stayed in many hostels, including others in Cusco. You can find many other accommodations in Cusco for the same price or less that will be much more agreeable.
