Property was clean and tidy with excellent layout for self contained group, location was convenient but the area was not scenic compared to some look. Good guest dining barbecue area.

Hotel is out of town a few kms. It was very clean but is very outdated. The couch needs updating. Towels were big and fluffy.

Very nice clean and tidy well kept units, very happy to stay there again. The only issue we had in both units was the showers, poor hot water delivery, running hot and cold.

Great views, great breakfast

Room was a good size, a sofa and a fridge. Great views looking south west towards Currie Lighthouse. Ample parking and a great and generous breakfast.

A good Motel

Never been to King Island before so not sure what to expect but very happy with the motel that had been booked for us the staff July went out of her way to make sure we were happy with everything even calling me in Melbourne offering to book restaurants as it was the Easter weekend

Pleasant Motel

I was very happy to aty at this place which is very convenient and complete.The manager Julie was very obliging when Wotif STUFFED UP our booking and did not tell her we had 4 rooms instead of three. She accommodated all of us with little fuss. The problem is that I STILL have not received a refund from Wotif after talking to them over the phone on our arrival for at least 20 Minutes and receiving all the platitudes anyone could bestow on you!! I doubt I will ever use them again for my bookings!! They have a beer garden fully stocked with drinks and food for guests to avail themselves on free of charge.

too expensive

for the money we paid could of had a 5 star motel in any city .The water pressure was so bad couldn't shower one day, and there were limited facilities in our room ,to prepare food etc ,generous with the tea ,coffee breakfast things.good bbq area with use of all facilities ,and were allowed to use the hotels kitchen for one night.There was a laundry that we were unaware of so spent $10 at the local laundromat instead. We were only ones there,overall if it was cheaper it would have been fairer for what we had,having said that it was warm, central,and the staff were like all King Islanders very friendly, have stayed in far worse.

Family stay

The deluxe apartment booked was excellent to cater for 3 generations of the family to stay under the one roof with adequate bedrooms to accomodate. The family room was was perfect for everyone to relax with morning sun streaming in. We will certainly stay there again. This is situated just out of Currie which was central for our needs for sightseeing around the island.

A delightfully pleasant and comfortable short weekend stay at Island Breeze Motel. The staff were exceptionally accommodating and the A-frame accommodation satisfied all our essential needs - with a kitchen, lounge area, dining area, a good shower and washing facilities and spacious bedrooms.

Island Breeze Review

We were disappointed as the room/accommodation was not as per the Expedia photos. The photo shows a two storey lodge but instead we were in an apartment near the reception. Whilst the apartment was clean and comfortable, it was not the ambience we expected. Overall though, the staff were wonderful especially when one found out I was gluten intolerant, I had a loaf of GF bread left for me for breakfast. Very thoughtful.

clean and spacious

Nice accommadation .Very large entertaining area . Cold tiled floor for winter though bring your slippers . Bit of a walk to town but nice walk . And maybe some drinking water there would be good Water is very hard . More info on things to do on King island would be good . Very nice though

Perfect location in the middle of the island

Staff very friendly as is everyone on the Island... Short drives to anywhere on the island, nice and clean.... The only issue was spiral staircase for young children to go the bedrooms and very low shower pressure
