"Hi, we were only there for two nights.
There was not enough storage space for two people's belongings. There were no drawers, just one shelf and a limited hanging area in the wardrobe, which was shared with the iron and ironing board.
The bath tap was very stiff and hard to turn.
The soap dispenser in the bath wasn't working. It wouldn't plunge down. I tried turning it both ways to see if it would pop up, but no luck.
The washbasin plug didn't work. When you tried to empty the sink, it wouldn't come up, so you had to lift the plug out with your fingernails to drain it. Alternatively, you could leave it for a while and hope it emptied.
We didn't attempt to use the tartan bath in the living room because it moved when you touched it. We didn't want to risk flooding someone else's room.
There was no air conditioning in the room. As it is a very old building with very thick walls, it retained the heat from the day.
We had to jam the bedside window open because the window stopper had been fitted too low, meaning you couldn't use the catch to hold the window open. We also had to open the other windows to get a draught through the room. Although a fan is provided, you still need cool air coming in from outside.
Out of hours vending macine has a limited poor choice at very asorbant prices had to use as bar was closed
The other only offer was a bottle of wine this was just after
2300 hrs
For a suite, I think Malmaison can do better.
Cheers Paul"

"This is a beautiful hotel with lovely grounds and outdoor seating.
Very friendly welcome from reception on arrival.
A big room and spacious bathroom with large walk in shower.
Very comfortable huge bed.
Lovely high tea in restaurant. Nice lounge and bar where we enjoyed a drink and played pool and darts.
A novelty for our 2 grandchildren.
Breakfast was great, the usual cereal, yogurts, fresh fruit, ham and cheese along with cooked items.
A lovely stay whilst enroute to Edinburgh zoo.
My only grip would be the extra charge for 2 kids beds and wasn't clear when I booked with Expedia."
