A kánikulában nagyon hiányzott, hogy az épületben sehol sincs légkondicionáló! A fürdőszobában SEMMILYEN szellőzés nincs! A vízcsapok saját kedvük szerint, váltakozva működtek! Az ablakon nincs szúnyogháló, így este csak villanyoltás után lehet kinyitni!

Not bad if you don't mind the room you staying in

Staff is super friendly, helpful. Good selection of food both at breakfast and dinner, beach is very close. However the room really deserves only 2 stars. Very thin walls, can't close the door from the inside without a key, need some minor improvements. The pipes when in use were extremly loud (had some plumbing issues) in the room next to us which woke us a couple of times during the night. I could have cope with it but my elderly mother is a light sleeper and this totally ruined her holiday. So if the room where you'll stay is one of the key points when you book your holiday then I do not recommend this place. If you don't mind the room then it is a great place for the price...

Maga az épület igazi retró stílusú, mintha az ember visszautazna vagy 40 évet az időben. Viszont ez ne tévesszen meg senkit: a hotel tiszta, az árához képest jól felszerelt, az ételek finomak. A személyzet is nagyon kedves és segítőkész volt. A szobánkban nem volt hűtőszekrény, de sikerült megoldani, hogy minimális felár ellenében átkerüljünk egy olyanba, amiben volt. Egyik este a bárban italozóknak ingyen rágcsálni valókat vittek körbe. A strand kényelmes tempóban kb. 10 perc sétára van, és a szobához jár minden napra belépőjegy, beleértve a kijelentkezés napját is, így hazautazás előtt még lehet egyet fürdeni a Balatonban. Az egyetlen negatívum, amit tapasztaltunk, hogy három főre foglaltunk, de az erkélyen csak két szék volt, és a személyzetnek nem állt módjában egy harmadikat biztosítani. Ugyanígy pohárból is csak kettő volt a szobában. A pótágy viszont meglepően kényelmes volt, bár a szoba mérete miatt alvás után mindig össze kellett csukni. Emellett gondot jelenthet az, hogy a szobákban nincsen klíma, csak egy kisméretű asztali ventillátor, ami a nyári kánikulában sokaknak kényelmetlenséget jelenthet. Nekünk nem volt probléma, ugyanis tartózkodásunk alatt kellemes hideg esték voltak, így átszellőzött a szoba. Összességében, én bátran merem ajánlani, és a jövőben is fontolóra venném, hogy itt foglaljak.

If walking is your thing then this hotel may br for you. The hotel is at the back and you would have to go around the property to go out to Csopak Strand. No elevators so if your room is on the third floor and in Building B then you are in for a surprise. Extra charge for a little electric fan, no aircondition, no phone, no soap, no shampoo. The plus is that it is free breakfast and dinner which is a saver since one would have to walk far to the nearest restaurant. It is non smoking in the rooms but others patrons sneak to smoke on the terrace so if you open the terrace door for fresh air at night when you sleep, you can smell the cigarette smoke.

There is no magic...

The hotel is very close to the beach and we got free tickets for every day. There is a big parking lot with shadow all day long. The wifi is very good. Breakfast and dinner is quite poor, the tableware is very old. The room was clear and the beds were comfortable, but the bathroom, toilette and the hotel itself was stuck in 70's. The towels are incredibly small. The windows can't be closed properly. The hotel staff is extremely young and friendly. There is no airconditioner, so when it is hot I think it is impossible to sleep. We stayed three nights and because at nights it wasn't hot and as we only went to sleep to the hotel, then it was okay. There is no magic, it is a 2* hotel...

DISGUSTING

July 2016. We stayed two nights in this hotel and it was the worst hotel stay ewer. The bathroom smells from sewage. When I complained about it, the receptionist send maintenance next day. When I asked for clean towel the answer was they change towels every 4-5 days. In summary: this hotel and management still stuck in communist impression of ruining the business (tourism). We will newer return again.

truly minimum standards

- "retro" feeling - built in the 70's without much of any renovation since then, + close to the beach - no airconditioning neither in the room nor in shared facilities - extremely poor breakfast: toast, cerial and some weird liver "paté"; never seen anything like that before. - bit of a confusion at check-out: intending to charge substantially more than confirmed price, though finally resolved & excused after some discussion.

Abgewohntes Hotel

Leider wird in die Erhaltung des Hotels kein Geld investiert.Es gibt keine Klimaanlage oder Kühlschrank im Zimmer.Dies gehört eigentlich zur Grundausstattung eines Hotelzimmers. Das Personal ist freundlich,die Zimmer werden täglich gereinigt. Das Frühstück ist einfach aber ausreichend,jedoch kann man das Abendessen meist vergessen. Wir können dieses Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen.

Medmindre man har et ønske om at opleve kommunisttiden i Ungarn - bliv væk fra dette hotel. Det er total slidt ned og møj beskidt. Badeværelserne er fra 70'erne og de stinker.

Günstig aber mehr auch nicht

Die Unterkunft liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe Zum Strandbad. Das Gebäude ist eine in die Jahre gekommene Jugendherberge aus der sovjet zeit. Eingangshalle und Gelände wurden seit Jahren nicht gewartet. Die Zimmer sin neue das Badezimmer aber nicht. Das essen am abend (Halbpension ) war unter aller Kanone. Dafür war der Kaffee am morgen sehr gut :-)
