"Spa is excellent, always clean, open throughout the day which is perfect. We received a room upgrade upon arrival which was a lovely touch, the hot tubs on the balcony are perfect. One of our favourite if not favourite places to stay In Bowness/windermere area because of the hot tubs."

"Our stay was fabulous. Its an amazing place with amazing staff and food. Beds and rooms we're immaculate. The only thing that stopped me from giving it a 5 star was the dogs barking late at night. Don't know of they were inside or out or both but it was on going for quite a while. Will be back though "

"Breakfast setup felt very cramped Plates were cold so after a few minutes so was the food On arrival at breakfast on 1st day we were told you know the drill maybe he mistook us for someone else No lake view in breakfast room as they have erected a fence which cuts off the view but other than that was ok Hotel is undergoing refurbishment "

"The room was clean and tidy, the water was a little too hot in the sink on the first night but seemed to be cooler the next night. The food was a standout for us and all of the staff were lovely. We look forward to visiting again when all of the renovations have been completed "
