Beautiful hotel with excellent restaurant attached to it and good food. Very quiet at night time and the rooms are as new. The staff at the hotel were so helpful and super friendly. We missed our flight and they made sure we are still looked after. What else can you say? Thank you to hotel staff and management!

Map of how to get too room is confusing, old manual keys to get in to Hallways then doors all the way down the long hallways to find room. Rooms noisy, could hear other doors being slammed closed quite often. The place seems to be in need of a refurb. I asked where the laundry was, and lady said oh sorry we don’t have laundry any more, so I said well you need to update your ad because we planned our trip around needing to do Laundry at this place, and I see they still haven’t updated their ad. The Pub/Bar restaurant was fantastic!

one thing you should look at if there are 3 people in the room booked to stay how come there was only two of everything like cups glasses tea spoons there should be 3 of everything thanks

Fridge was small. No microwave. Stayed at 135$ room in Ashburton, 165$ room in Greymouth, both had larger fridges, Greymouth one had microwave. Wanted to warm up Pizza, had to eat it cold. Other than that, stay was good. The shower was fantastic! Loved the air conditioning.

Cleanliness 10/ 10. Comfortable beds. heated electrical pad on the mattress. 35 minute walk to downtown. 10 min walk to train station. Pleasant receptionist. Functional kitchenette, but basic. Tiny fridge. New beautiful bathroom. no Netflix but cable TV. New carpet and no bad smells They have king bedrooms with one king bed. They have twin bedrooms with 2 double beds and these rooms are large. They have king bedrooms with an extra twin bed. Some bedrooms on the ground floor, and some you have to climb stairs. You can request extra beds to some of the rooms.

The only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars was because, despite each room having its own Wi-Fi connection, all the Wi-Fi passwords of the rooms were the same. This enabled another guest to hack into my laptop, & send a scam to all of my email contacts, resulting in a massive hassle the following day which caused truckloads of sh#t to hit many fans. I was not happy & it resulted in my wife & I not having the time to see many of the sights in Cromwell, as it took so long to sort the issue out. It effectively wrecked out Cromwell experience
