Three Seasons Feb 2020

Our stay at the Three Seasons was a great deal compared to other options nearby. The condo is a little dated with an old ski lodge feel, but was quiet, clean, and well located to the ski area with frequent shuttle service. The staff was friendly and it was very nice having a full kitchen available for some meals in. Great option for a more budget friendly price.

Great for family!

We loved every second we were there! Being the first stop on the bus was almost as good as being on the hill and the pool was fantastic. We will be going back!

Decent stay for the price

Our stay was reasonable for the price. They were accommodating to let us check in early which was much appreciated. The kitchen was decent, but could have used more kitchen supplies for cooking meals. Very quick shuttle to the mountain. While we had trouble with the heating and a shower, the employees were quick to come fix the problems. The wifi never seemed to work. The pool was very, very cold for kids to swim. There seemed to be a few guests who were smoking in their rooms and you could strongly smell it every time you walked by. Overall happy with visit, but some room for improvement at this hotel.

No thanks!

Crested Butte mountain itself is awesome, but the Three Seasons needs some work. First of all, we booked for $175/night for 4 nights which comes to $700 and the total was $868 with taxes and fees, and nowhere could I find a itemized list of taxes and fees. Second, the place was absolutely filthy when we check in, pet hair EVERYWHERE!!! Interesting for a place that says no pets allowed. I asked management to clean it again on 2 separate occasions and no one cleaned it. My 3 year old had to take allergy medication all weekend because he could hardly breathe! The heating was completely dysfunctional....my kids room with bunk beds was like 85 degrees and a floor register was always on, no way to shut it off (not to mention a severe fire hazard). The other side of the building was like 60 degrees with no ability to adjust the heat! The key code to the outside door worked only 1 out of 10 times!!! Most of the time we had to walk all the way around the property to an open door while our room was on the opposite side! Pool was cold, kids wouldn’t even swim in it. The list goes on, won’t ever stay here again. As of this review, still had to pay full price!!!

Nice stay

Our stay was good. The rooms were clean and cozy. It was very warm which was not a surprise, it was the middle of July. There were ceiling fans which helped.

Clean, comfortable, but old.

Our unit was a 1 bedroom condo (bedroom, bathroom, & combined kitchen/dining/living room). It was clean & comfortable, but except for the flat screen TV it looks like it was built in the 1980's and hasn't been updated since.

ok place for the money

Beds were uncomfortable. The rooms were big enough and for having a kitchen and a living room, the price was really good!! Please get new mattresses- we sunk in them.

3 Seasons great for biking

We only stayed 2 nights while riding our MTB's in the CB area. Great location for Evolution BP and getting out to the 401 trail, etc Schofield Pass but not as charming (or busy) as old town CB. Bed wasn't the most comfortable but the size of the room and our little balcony to sun in was good. Hot tub was broken which we were kind of bummed about but not hung up on it. Service was great and the price was reasonable for what we got. I would stay there again.

Good value for family getaway

This was a great place to stay for our family for a ski getaway at Crested Butte. The proximity to the slopes/shuttle stop was excellent. The condo was nicely furnished and comfortable for hanging out as a family. The facility itself showed its age a bit, but was overall a pleasant place to stay and a good value. We would definitely stay there again.

Crested Butte condo

No frills 2 bedroom condo, functional, well stocked kitchenette. No elevator so not good for elderly. Dated decor. Close to ski area, hiking and biking. Good price but would look elsewhere next visit to Crested Butte.

Shuttle that ran every 15 minutes to the base of the mountain was very user friendly.

Dated but Comfortable

This condo was perfect for our weekend. It was very dated, but I've been staying in Colorado ski condos since the 70s, so I thought it was just fine! The bed and pillows were very comfortable - and that is the most important thing I was doing in the condo.

Convenient, comfy & friendly in Crested Butte

OK, the carpet in the hallway is showing some age, but the unit is in fine shape; this particular one with a rustic western theme. The staff at Three Seasons is friendly, and the location by the base area is very convenient. The units like this on the east side have a great view of the mountain.

Pros and Cons

Pro: Great value! Kitchenette. Decent location (in resort area, not in town, but if you're going for skiing, very near ski area). Specific to our room (143): some renovations done. Cons: Each room/condo individually owned, so no guarntee what you'll get (maybe calling the property management office before check-in could get some insight into what condos are available?). Bedroom at entrance to room (awkward!). Specific to our room: No dining table, lack of lighting, uncomfortable seating in living room, no fans (ceiling or box, which could have been a huge issue if the weather had warmed up).

Some Good, Some Not So Good

The stay was fine. Best part was full kitchen in room and balcony overlooking Mount Crested Butte. We also liked the fact that the parking had plenty of room for our ATV trailer. The not so good...unbearably hot in room even with sliding glass door open, ceiling fans running and fan on. The indoor heated pool in center of hotel makes everything hot and humid in July. No customer service, after 8pm you self check-in. No food on premises either.

Good location, convenient trans. option.

We stayed in 206B on the west side of the building. The most unpleasant item was the lack of proper ventilation in the bedroom. The fan system in the ceiling and the floor fans should have been running prior to our arrival. Ironically the entry door was so unsealed that some air flowed through the door but it sucked in the vapors from the pool and sauna, which were treated with way too much chlorine. The room was basically clean but could have been better. For example the corners of rooms, the closets, and floor between the fridge and walls was dirty. The wall above kitchen sink was smudged with soap and dirt. Also, no hooks in the bathrm. to hang clothes.

Very close to transportation into town, and quiet

It's an older building, but well maintained, and a staff that DOES care about your stay. Our condo was very clean, and well supplied. Very quiet, but then it was late Sept. (off season). Hot tub closed way too early...however, they were happy to send a guy over and unlock the area, which we appreciated. I have to say...the staff DID go out of their way, to make our stay a good one...and we would rent from them again. Our family gives it a full thumbs up!
