"They didn't have the suite we originally reserved so we had to split into two rooms and the water was brown coming out in the bathtubs of both rooms. The room smelled like smoke even though it was a no-smoke room. They were kind and did move us rooms but the breakfast was also very lacking. There was only cereal and waffles-no bit of protein whatsoever."
"Upon entering the first room assigned to us, we were overcome by the horrible smell. My wife ran out of the room and told me to cancel our stay. I went into the motel office and spoke with the female manager on duty there , informing her of the garbage like smell of the room. She said that the problem must be the carpet and assigned us to room 107 which had no carpet. My wife and I entered that room , which had the fake wood vinyl flooring and found it to be acceptable. It appeared to be fairly clean with a faint odor about it . We settled in but found that the air conditioner would only blow somewhat cool air and I found it hard to sleep that night due to the warm temperature.
The room was very plain, with no pictures on the wall or any decorations.
No one informed us of an ice machine or where to find snacks.
The next morning, I arose very early and went in search of some type of breakfast snacks but found nothing that was not inside a pay snack machine except coffee. Upon our departure at around 9:45 am, my wife told me that I had chosen a sorry motel and that we had gotten what we paid for, which was the least expensive motel room in Crossville, Tn. We both agreed that we would never stay at Executive Inn again."
Quality Inn Crossville Near Cumberland Mountain State Park
8/10 Good
"The room was fine, well cleaned and the staff was helpful there were several lights that didn't work and the tub drain was very slow. the A/C worked good and the meal was okay. we would stay there again"
"Do not book here! After a 4 hour drive I arrive to check in with no lobby sign in sight! Proceeded to walk around the “hotel” (more like an extended stay motel) 3x and no sign of where to check in. Tried to call OYO hotel number, no answer. Hotels.com tried, no answer. Tried to call their 1-800 number and someone actually answered but said that Hotels.com should be able to help me.
Also while doing my rounds of the hotel in search for the lobby several door were open and you could see they were quite lived in by the pet bowls and trash. It also smelled like one big ash tray with the smell very strong even when you walked away. I’m sure had I stayed there I’d smell like a Waffle House from the 80’s and never get the smoke smell out. Ended up at the Comfort Inn with clean, smoke free rooms and, wait for it, an actual lobby with someone there to help you!
And the final kicked is they declined my request for refund so my trip cost me over double what I budgeted.
While talking to folks downtown of my experience they told be I made a very wise choice to change hotels.
Avoid this place like the plague. Your health and safety is not worth the $50 you might save compared to a real hotel."
