「An absolute gem of a pub and experience from start to finish was the best we had in Scotland for sure. Property has a lot of history and it was exactly what I had pictured in my mind of a country Scottish inn. Fynes Ales a short drive away and was also brilliant. Best dinner we had in Scotland as well and you could tell all the staff care a lot about their inn and the people who visit. 」

「A busy friendly pub hotel that made us feel very welcome. Very clean, very large comfy bed. A quiet large warm room and clean bathroom. Staff were friendly and obliging and breakfast delicious. Loved the fact a table at dinner was reserved even without asking and then you could choose not to take it. We did and the menu was varied in a dining room that took good COVID precautions. We enjoyed our dinner. Really great value for money and would definitely recommend.」

「Stayed with grandchildren in a great room. Staff extremely knowledgeable and accomodating. I did not like the breakfast dining experience. No back ground music the food was not great and you coukd hear a pin drop. No one talking at tables it felt awkward. Otherwise a great stay. I will stay again it was very pricey but location is why 」
