Our stay was very relaxing. We had a wonderful view of the valley and Bath from our own little patio. The bed was very comfortable and there were black out curtains that provided for a sound sleep. Our hostess offered a full breakfast that included eggs, salmon, cereals and yogurt. The location was a few miles from Bath and was much more peaceful than staying in town.

Michael and Dot were exceptional hosts, with very comfortable rooms, a delicious breakfast, and a magnificent yard and view. Our stay there was a highlight of our four weeks in the UK.

A great short stay.

We had a lovely short stay, Dorothy was very welcoming and the room was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent both days. We would recommend to anybody wanting to stay near Bath.

Cosy, super friendly plus fantastic breakfast

Lovely and cosy with fantastic breakfast and welcoming host with really good knowledge of the local area and the best places to visit and other tips. Really good sized room and bathroom and would fully recommend. Much more friendly and homely than the usual hotels we stay in.

Amazing place to stay

Dot was a superb host We had an amazing time at Spinnycross we were made very welcome, Breakfast was amazing,The room and ensuite were very spacious and the cleanliness was superb, the view from the bedroom was outstanding We would recommend this hotel as we will definitely be returning ourselves We would like to thank Dot for making our stay so special Thanks Nick & Jenny x

Lovely Scenic Hideaway!

Spinneycross is an absolute gem of a property. Dot is a lovely hostess , and was very helpful, she also knocks up a great breakfast! The quiet, tranquil area was very welcome after being on the road for 2 weeks. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Outstanding, friendly and personal!

Dorothy and Michael are the perfect hosts in what is the most beautiful room and setting, with a bath big enough to swim in! So many live little personal touches and nothing was too much trouble! Loved the visit, would recommend and return without doubt!

We loved staying at Dots for a second time around, everything perfect as expected. Breakfast was so tasty and set us up for the day. Rooms spotless and Dot even recommended us some places to go and see which we did and it did not disappoint! Thank you once again Dot for a lovely stay. A fantastic view

Our stay here was just what we needed, quiet, private and very friendly. Set in a beautiful part of the country, this was a great place to stay for our trip to Bath. Just a short bus ride away. Our host was most helpful with everything, a glass of wine on arrival to a lovely Wiltshire breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble, thank you. Yes we would definitely stay again.

Our stay was very relaxing and comfortable Our host was charming and so welcoming. The view over the garden to the hills was beautiful. Enjoyed even more, sitting on our terrace, with a complementary glass of wine. Just perfect
