「We stayed in this hotel for one night. It’s right in the heart of the wine region and we visited a vineyard before arriving for the night. Easy to park in the underground car park but there’s also plenty of parking on the street. Super easy check-in and offered drink as we arrived which was nice. The hotel has an indoor pool and some Thermo circuit spas which were great to relax in the afternoon and morning. Lovely breakfast with a good choice, including eggs Benedict. 「Beautiful historic hotel . Rooms could do with electric outlets next to the beds and bathrooms could be updated. The service is bit too formal- when we requested a dinner reservation we could not get the time we wanted and when we arrived a half hour after our requested time there were only two tables taken- it was empty. 」

「The location was spectacularly close to some of the main cultural sites of Évora. All were easily walkable, usually within minutes, and that included restaurants, as well as historical sites. The absolute best thing about the hotel were the staff. Flawlessly professional, courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. Restaurant recommendations and reservations were handled with aplomb. I’d never seen a 10.0 rating before. They certainly met that standard for me.」
