The properties pictures dont show you what you actually stay in. Its pretty run down, cracks in walls, hot water barley working in the shower, sink leaking, food left over in the fridge from the previous customers and thats just to name a few main things. The hot breakfast they mention was cereal and make your own waffles. In the middle of the stay is when i had seen other people commenting the same about their rooms. The staff was incredibly nice especially the older lady that worked days.

We’ve been to other hotels in the area but this one is more convenient and we always end up back , the staff is very friendly and easy walk to BlackBeards and Lexington. Somethings need to be updated and fixed on doors by balcony.

One of our favorite places

We come here often. We love it here mainly because of the access to the ocean. Last time we went we did have a problem with our front door. It wasn’t locking properly. We did show staff and they did move us to another room. It’s beautiful here! Rooms could use a little updating, but other than that…we enjoy our stay here.

You literally walk out to the beach straight out of your back door on certain rooms, we got lucky we had one of those rooms without asking or paying extra. They have kind of a big patio with high wooden fences for privacy 💯. They dont do room service, now this is good n bad. Good no banging on your door early in the morning. You have to take your towels to the front for fresh towels. Room didnt have toilet paper or tissues. Best channels freeze saying no signal but who really wants tv that much on vacation.

Overall our stay was good. It seems as if the quality of the hotel has detiriated. Breakfast has been cut down to only waffles and cold cereal. There is not an ice machine on promises.the grounds and pool area were clean . Went to the desk several times and there was no one there. Needed to report a broken toilet. So we dealt with it on our own. Staff was friendly when interacting with them. This is our favorite place to stay in Vorpus Christi.

Photos are NOT update of his location. There is a foul musty smell throughout of mold and mold in showers. Linens were not changed upon arrival. AC was broken. Only give you 2 towels for 4 people to a room. Ran out of towels and had roaches in both rooms we were in. The staff was friendly, I originally thought I booked ocean view room as my room SHOWS that photo but was told I did not and they were booked, which they were not since they were able to give me another room. Overall I wouldn’t stay here again with my children. They never answered phones for me to have a joining rooms or request it days before my trip. Convenient to beach, but will stay elsewhere next time. Not like the photos!

The staff was great at checkin, the hotel really needs a upgrade to everything. The door to our room was super bad, bathroom was a bit smelly the tiles were pretty bad condition. The sofa chair in the room was very filthy, bed was not too comfortable. Location was great

Good pool and beach, older hotel

Hotel is older and could use better maintenance. Pool and beach access are very good. There was a man in the lobby selling jewelry and we couldn’t walk past without him trying to sell us something. We didn’t feel we could get together with our friends in the lobby because of the jewelry man being there all the time and taking up most of the lobby. No hot water on some mornings. There was also trash around the property from Easter weekend.

Free breakfast was good, and the proximity to restaurants, the aquarium, and the ship was good. However, please be aware that this is an old hotel, everything seems to be in a state of disrepair, and needs painting. The bath tub and the metal base of the lights on the bed stands were visibly rusted.

Quiet literally beach front

I will say we did have a great weekend. The location was great it was so nice to be so close to the beach and pool. However, I didn’t feel our rooms were clean. When we got there it was late so we just took off our shoes and hopped in bed. The floor was covered in sand already when it was night so we hadn’t gone to the beach yet & even the beds already had sand in them as soon as we pulled back the covers. Granted I’m not sure how easy keeping the sand away would be because the room literally opens up to the beach it probably constantly blows in, it was just super uncomfortable because no matter how hard we tried there was always sand everywhere. The staff was nice enough to let me get a change of sheets because we really needed it and even borrow a broom to try to clean up some sand.
