Would stay again
It was a pretty nice and clean place. The breakfast was also not too bad. Had a misunderstanding with billing which took a while to resolve. Other then that it was pretty good for the money. I plan on staying here again in the near future.

Bare basics
This hotel is nothing fancy. Just the bare basics and nothing more. Most important thing is that it is very clean! For a cheap hotel I was impressed with the cleanliness. And really what more do you need? I had my 2 pups with me and it's quiet enough that they didn't want to bark which is surprising because it's in a busy area. For a hotel in Coronado the price is amazing. Convenient location. I will probably stay here every time I visit.

Great Couples Getaway
My boyfriend and I had an amazing trip! We both loved the hotel! The location is amazing! We will be staying here again next time we are in San Diego!

Coronado Inn
The hotel was in a very tight quarter, not enough parking for guests, no other assistance regarding parking. Hotel reservations were mismanaged by hotel staff, BreaKfast items were minimal and ran out before end of time stated, staff unresposive to inquiries and requests. Room on the south of property noisy from street traffic. No instructions regarding use of fan/heater in room, no communication at ant level from hotel staff.

San Deigo apartment hunt
Hotel is very cute with a great location. Unfortunately there was road and alley construction going on during the stay. Breaking up the concrete just out side our room which started at 7am, there is no parking ( only 8 spots available at the site) street parking would have been ok if construction was not in process. Had to park quite a way down the street most of the time. Staff was friendly and helpful. Nice continental breakfast and coffee with Ice tea available all day (nice touch). I would probably try this hotel again see how things would go with out construction. Wi-Fi was very very very very slow but at least we had it at not charge, can't complain when it is free.

Great for just sleeping
This place is cute. Our room was very dusty but after we wiped it down it met our needs for just sleeping two nights. It's a great location and we walked to dinner etc. parking is a little tricky but we lucked out. Breakfast was nice except out last morning a group of college kids staying there ate most of the food so we had to go somewhere else. They also ran out of bottled water but the Albertsons is a short walk to get more. Overall if you are just there to sleep this is a good place on Coronado. If you are planning to hang out in your room and expecting a lot of amenities this is not for you.

Economical and Decent
This motel is on the main drag (Orange Ave.) in Coronado, and within about 3-4 blocks from the Harbor area with all the shops and eating places. The rooms are of average size, but I found ours to be very comfortable and CLEAN. The King size bed was firm and we slept great on it. Our room also came with a mini fridge and a microwave, which for a several day/night stay is an ideal addition. This motel is also pet-friendly, which was what we needed this time. The only negative thing we experienced is that we had room #1 which was side walk and street side which meant we heard ALL the traffic noise at this busy intersection of Orange and Third..NEXT time, I will be asking for a room FURTHER from the street!

Great family and little dog getaway!
From the moment we checked in until we checked out, the staff was great. The building is older and could use some updates, but it was well kept and maintained. There is a nice big strip of grass for the pups to potty and a good size walking area that felt safe to take them out alone in the middle of the night. The pool was clean and bug free, but the water was way too cold to take the kids in. The location couldn't have been better and the value for that was awesome. We will stay there again!

Old and not updated. Heavy traffic noise until like 10pm but located right by good restuarants and the waterfront. What would you expect for $100 in Coronado.

The way to enjoy Coronado Island
This is the type of place to stay when visiting Coronado! Clean, comfortable room, basic continental breakfast. EXCELLENT price! Close to everything you will want to do. If you are going to Coronado to enjoy the island (and nearby San Diego) it's the place to stay on the island. Would recommend it to anyone.

Having recently spent some time at an expensive resort hotel because that's where a conference was, I was very glad to enjoy a quiet room in a less expensive place. Even though the room cost less, I had free wifi and breakfast, which the resort hotel did not provide. The only flaw was that my room did not have a table for my laptop. It did have a refrigerator, which I always appreciate.

Perfect location!
This was our second stay at the Coronado Inn and we loved it. The staff is wonderful and the location is great. The rooms are like staying in a cozy cottage by the beach. Breakfast has everything you could need to start your day. Parking is a squeeze, but everything in Coronado is a squeeze. From the hotel, it is an easy stroll to Ferry Landing and beautiful views of the San Diego skyline across the bay. We will stay here again and again!

Location only!
The best part of this motel was the location, we were able to walk everywhere including the beach. There were many restaurants to choose from. We took the ferry to Seaport Village and walked around there. The weather was perfect, again, location, location, location...

Didn't know what to expect but was a fantastic place to stay. Location close to bay and a nice walk to the ocean or taking the free bus. Great breakfast and wonderful staff. Would recommend you stay here.

Lovely, quaint, well maintained property. Close to ferry landing, great restaurants and shops all within comfortable walking distance. Rooms small as to be expected in an older property, but very clean and comfortable.

Place needs some TENDER LOVING CARE. Restroom needs LOTS of upgrades. Bed comfort was falling apart (a needle and thread would be good). room needed lots of dusting, cobwebs everywhere and dead spiders in 2 drawrs (not good). Stafff was great and helpful. For a quick come n go this place is PERFECT !

Nice Stay
Nice stay, location on Coronado was great to get to public transportation and downtown. Minor things such as noise and some ants were only downside. All in all a good place for a place to sleep.

Overall great value
Good deal for a last minute booking. Clean hotel, no frills, nothing fancy. Pet friendly ($15 charge per night in addition to room charge - worth it since dog beach in Coronado is fantastic!) Negatives: small shower, also, to enter hotel parking lot you'll have to weave your way around a couple of one-way streets (minor inconvenience.)

Nice place for 2 travelers
Quaint little place on busy road. Hot water took a long time to run, but everything else was good. Free lemonade and ice cold bottled water was a nice touch. We had a refrigerator and a microwave in our room which was nice.

Great value
A swell place to hang your hat for the evening in San Diego -- for under 100 bucks. Three of us (including a 5 year-old) stayed in one of the cottages with 2 small King beds; room was quiet enough; parking not a problem (and we were the last to arrive); free continental breakfast hit the spot. Accommodations were average but clean -- again, compared to the $300/night rooms in the big hotels across the bay, a great value.

Was really surprised by the hotels location to walk to numerous shops, restaurants nearby. Bus stop right outside for transportation to get around Coronado or to go to downtown San Diego. The ferry landing is just a short walk down Orange Ave.

Best Deal in Coronado
It was the perfect hotel for a stay-cation. The price included breakfast and snacks. It was comfy little room. The parking is a little small. For the price and location, it was a steal. And the staff went above and beyond! They made our stay great.

Great location for the price
Room was small but seemed clean, though some stains on the carpet, couple of light bulbs out (replaced quickly by staff). Beds were very cheap feeling, could actually feel the springs poking through! Price for Coronado island was very reasonable. Rooms were very noisy in the morning due to the proximity to the street. Would probably stay there again just for the location and price.

convenient to ferry, ferry shopping area, markets, restaurants. About a 10 block walk to the center of town. About 7 blocks to Tidelands at foot of bridge. Clean hotel, very basic breakfast.

An OK place on a gorgeous location.
If you are looking for a quick 1 night stay, this place is OK but not exceptional. My wife, my 2 years old and myself stayed there for two days and were glad to be back home afterwards. The sink was clogged behind repair, the handy guy came in right away but he could not fix it. The AC unit is very old (70's) manual type no thermostat. I paid $100 / night but this place is worth $50-60 no one penny more. The front door could properly shut unless you force it close. the silicon in the shower cabinet had black spot of mold as well as the sink. Overall the room was acceptable and the bed was OK. The only good thing is the location, within minutes from the ferry pier and the best restaurants in town. I will check out the near by BEst Westerner and the other motels around this one. Definitely not the place I will book from my summer week vacation. PS some customer seem to be permanent residents, sort of scary.

Simple, clean, enjoyable
This motel provides an older but comfortable clean room. It is conveniently located on busy Orange Ave. in Coronado within walking distance of a very nice park for the grand kids and of course close to beaches. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. We had lotsof difficulty with our original arrival timeline due to airline problems and were assured they would hold our reservation. We also found we needed a different type of room which they also graciously arranged.

The hotel is easy to find and in a great location, a short walk to the Coronado Brewery (during San Diego Beer Week). It is close to a major intersection, though noise was not a problem. It was also a short drive to the San Diego Gondola Co, and even long walk/ fast drive to a local park and nostalgic movie theater. The bathroom in our hotel was very cramped, and not the cleanest, but not concerningly so. The rest of the room was spacious and clean. The continental breakfast was decent w/ plenty of fresh fruit and rolls/ cereal. Coffee, juice & milk as well as free bottled water were all offered in the courtyard. I would stay here again.

paradise for the budget
Cute little motel with very clean rooms, good space and very friendly staff. Great free continental breakfast and snacks thruout the day. Free bottled water and internet. Easy access to beach. 5 blocks from downtown. Excellent VALUE!

Clean and complete, but not luxious. Bed was a little too firm. Room had refrigerator, microwave, iron and board, but no hair dryer. I was there in January and saw no evidence of a swiming pool. WiFi easy to access, but sometimes spotty. No phone in the room when I arrived, but one appeared on the second day. Continental breakfast was minimal. But it cost about one/half of what my relatives paid at the Hotel accross the street.

Old style small motel, with nice rooms and very friendly people. Sits on Orange Ave and 3rd and is a bit noisy, but nothing more than should be expected for this type motel. Exceptional value.

Staff were friendly and room was clean. Shower is very small. I kept bumping my elbows on the on the shower wall. Breakfast pastries could have been fresher instead of packaged donuts and pastries.

NOT a boutique hotel but a cheap MOTEL
Although it advertises as a "boutique" hotel, it does not have any charm of any boutique hotel but a cheap motel (if it just advertised itself as a motel, I would be fine with that; but the mis-advetisement turns me off in a big way). The motel had a microwave and a small frig which is very nice; however, it does not even have a phone. The continental breakfast is so skimpy, only the very high calorie and very sweet pre-packaged sweets which are really not breakfast.

Great 3-day getaway
The motel is old, but well-kept and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was such that you could easily walk to both ends of the Island; however, because it is on a busy street, there is quite a bit of road noise. I would definitely stay there again!

Not pet friendly
Hotel requires that you be present with your pet at all times. I was not informed of this requirement until I checked in. Since the hotel requires you to prepay your entire trip I am out $500. If traveling with a pet I recommend that you steer clear.

DECENT PLACE, BUT NOISY
THIS IS A NICE LITTLE PLACE IN CORONADO IF YOU'RE NOT EXPECTING LUXURY. PREVIOUSLY, I HAD A ROOM ON THE STREETSIDE THAT WAS VERY NOISY ALL NIGHT, SO I ASKED FOR A DIFFERENT LOCATION THIS TIME. THIS TIME THE ROOM WAS IN THE COURTYARD, AND BOTH NIGHTS I WAS THERE, PEOPLE WERE SITTING ON THE CHAIRS OUTSIDE OF THE OFFICE TALKING UNTIL 3:30 AM! I GUESS THERE WERE COMING BACK FROM THE BARS. WE HAD TO HAVE OUR WINDOWS OPEN, AS IT WAS REALLY WARM, AND WE GOT NO SLEEP WHATSOEVER. THEN, THE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST STARTS AT 6:00, WHICH MEANS MORE PEOPLE OUTSIDE OUR DOOR. THE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST WAS DING DONGS AND POWDERED SUGAR DONUTS
