I wish I could give this hotel a 3.5 star review overall, but my only options are 3 stars or 4 stars. It's not good enough for 4 stars, not quite bad enough for 3 stars.
The PROS:
+Incredibly good breakfast buffet, it was included with our room and had the best food of any hotel breakfast we experienced in the Philippines. This honestly carried the entire hotel.
+Good access to 3 unique restaurants. Good food options to choose from all within walking distance: Filipino comfort food, pizza, and Japanese food.
+We got food poisoning during our stay (likely from one of their restaurants) and they had an on-site nurse which attended to us for not extra cost.
+They let us extend our stay easily and for cheaper than what we paid.
Here are some issues we had:
-We got food poisoning from one of their restaurants we're pretty sure.
-The A/C unit is a total joke, didn't cool anything despite being on the strongest setting.
-The swimming pool is warm, murky, and feels dirty and oily. The pumps weren't even on so water wasn't even circulated.
-Several times we had to call the front desk or room service multiple times to ask for the same thing because they wouldn't bring it to us after the first request, or after a long long time.
-The service water they provided were all from different sources, and usually too warm.
-The safe in the room wasn't working properly, we had to call someone in to help us with it (never had an issue with the hotel room safe before).
