"A pleasantly surprising stay in the Saumur/ Doué-la-Fontaine area of the Loire. This property while modern is a gem, we benefited from a comfortable clean and pleasant family room, with a window opening up onto their rear garden area. "A good no nonsense place to stay. It has all the necessities you need and a huge amount of choice for breakfast. The gardens around the property are nice and the pool would be a real bonus in the summer. The staff are friendly and the propietor spoke excellent English and was a really helpfull nice chap. I was very glad I found this and would stay again if in the area. I didnt know how to rate the Eco freindlyness as i dont know that, so a mid 3stars. "

"Having just spent two nights at this wonderful hotel I can easily understand why just about every review here is 10 out o10. This is a fantastic almost perfect hotel. The owners, a sweet young married couple, are clearly utterly devoted to this hotel and every touch has their signature. "We stayed for a quick night stop half way through France. We picked this place because looked interesting and glad we did. Place was amazing. It was different than boring hotel rooms. It was very comfortable, very clean and cosy. The person (I believe he was the owner) was very kind and friendly. We had a amazing comfortable evening and continued our journey next morning but we would definitely stayed for more. It's unique place. Very quiet and tranquil. Definitely recommend here"
