「If you have a car, and have the good fortune to be traveling in the Douro Valley, this place is not to be missed. It is a bit hard to get to, but well worth the effort. Fantastic setting, beautiful rooms and amenities, and 5-star service. This is a family-run guesthouse, and Maria knows the area, the history, the products, and the hospitality business. Just a gem.
