「Ionian Arches is a really well located, clean, family run place. The photos on the listing definitely glamorise it a bit - e.g we chose a superior room with garden view, which actually looked out onto the driveway and some plants. We were also a bit disappointed to find our breakfast is only offered in the summer - June onwards - but luckily there are lots of cafes in walking distance. Our shower also didn’t work great due to the water coming out in one pressurised stream from the middle. But...

Check in was excellent, they went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed and that our stay would be enjoyable, including giving us advice on beaches and places to visit. The balcony was a really highlight and the location of the apartment was perfect. We would absolutely stay here again. 」

「I went with my husband . We worked on line and explored the island as well. The property was wonderful . It is in the middle of old town which is beautiful. It is also a 10 minute walk to a beach. The property was very comfortable and clean. The internet was great. The host was very accessible through WhatsApp and they were very friendly .」

「The apartment was in an excellent location, although hard to find. Air con was v good as was having a washing machine. Apartment size quoted at 40 sq m which it may have been but with room divisions seemed smaller. I had no idea we were booking an airbnd. Wasn’t mentioned in any of the booking or information looked at. In my personal dealings with staff, did not find much empathy. I would not stay here again 」

「A very comfortable apartment. Looks just like the pictures. Right on the outskirts of the old town close to all the main restaurants. Great communication. A couple of things were missing from the apartment and the owner resolved the issue immediately. Thanks for a great stay!!」

「Communication was almost non-existent. The entrance is an unmarked door on a narrow Old Town street. Then two flights of dark, decrepit, and narrow steep stairs carrying luggage to unmarked doors that I only knew of from another review. The host was contentious and unhelpful with pre-check in and check in, not giving any information until we paid €2 for some mystery fees.
