"Apt was beautiful and clean. My only complaint is that the lift didn't wrk and I have a stroller with a very heavy baby. About 12 steps up then you got on an elevator. Not good for wheelchair bound ppl. Staff and self ck in was great."

"When we arrived we discovered our room was very small with a small double bed. We had trouble closing the bathroom door. It was a glass sliding door wouldn’t slide and it was chipped at the bottom corner. We asked if we could change rooms and the very helpful receptionist did this for us. Second room was much better but the shower wasn’t sealed at the bottom and water flooding out into the bedroom. We didn’t complain as we could manage by turning pressure down and putting towel down. Breakfast was basic but good. We had a pizza in the evening which was good. All the staff were excellent. Very helpful and friendly. Beautiful entrance with plants and garden restaurant was fabulous. Location was the best, right opposite the cathedral. Roof top terrace also very nice with views of bell tower. Very good value for money. I would recommend this hotel just a few maintenance issues with rooms."

"As you walk out the door, you’re 5 steps away from the mosque/ cathedral making it an amazing and jaw dropping location. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel rooms were clean and well equipped. Buffet breakfast was an extra €10 per person. Which was well worth it. Being on the main site, there’s a host of restaurants and shops. The Roman bridge is across 4 mins walk away. Basically, bring based at this hotel will allow you to see the main sites within hours. You can’t go wrong! Would definitely recommend for couples and families. Parking is available on site if you book in advance and it’s available. The alternative is to park on the other side of the river on the main road for free. Takes 10 min walk across the Roman bridge and up a slight, gentle slope for about 5 mins and you’re at the hotel."

"I never usually write a review after a holiday stay but this time I just had to. Even before we arrived Laura and Xavier were fabulous. From the instructions on how to approach, depending on our route, to restaurant recommendations, I cannot fault them. The hotel itself was more than my wife and I could have wished for. The small intimate setting with the simple decor was just wonderful and to top it off we were given a free room upgrade and a complimentary bottle of chilled wine and nibbles. The property itself has so much history and the ambience is fabulous. The courtyard also has a bar which is a perfect setting for an evening drink. Once again thank you Laura and Xavier for a wonderful stay. We hope to come again."
