「The home is clean and comfortable. The host was lovely. There are no amenities (no breakfast) and the walk to town is considerable (and a rather large hill!). But, it was an excellent place to lay our weary heads. Check in and checkout were simple. 」

「we had a great time at Muckross Hotel. Only thing I would say is you have to call in that you want to use the pool and spa area. which we would have known because we didn’t get to use it. 」

「The receptionist was a lovely lady and she looked after us well despite being a bit early. Very nice lady and made us feel welcome. Room was clean and we got exactly what we paid for, great value. As Dubs, we were shocked at how nice the hotel was the price we paid. All the best to the staff.」

The food was unbelievably delicious- we had breakfast, lunch and dinner and enjoyed everything. It was so fresh and beautifully presented. 「Close to city center and have a very nice church opposite to it. The breakfast is awesome and the room is neat and tidy. Though it is a little bit dark. If you are expecting a hot shower , sorry it may disappointed you. The water pressure may not be satisfying you. 」
