"A beautiful old manor steeped in history. Staff were very friendly and professional. Room was huge and well ventilated. The carpet in our room was stained in areas, but this didn't bother us particularly. I would add that we didn't dine in the hotel, but had a few drinks and some food in the pub attached to the hotel. Drinks were good, but we felt the food was quite overpriced for what it was. Staff were friendly though and were working hard. "
