「We stayed here at the end of our trip and it was the perfect place to relax, enjoy the beautiful scenery and listen to the sounds of the surf and birds. Seth, Nuala and David all made a point of stopping by to see how we were settling in and it was lovely to read the history behind the creation of the villas. Cannot recommend this place enough - would still be there if we could ☺️」

「While everything about the hotel experience was great, nothing stood out more than the owners Grant and Trudy Smith. Grant is one of those people who makes you feel like you've been friends for years even though you only met a few minutes ago. Trudy was just as personable. Whether it be getting restaurant recommendations or borrowing bikes to ride on the New Plymouth Coastal Walkway, they were always ready to be helpful.」

「Didn’t use the gym or have breakfast as we had to be on the road early…but…the owner…AJ …was awesome. He met us on arrival, personally took our bags from the car park up two flights of stairs to our room….then, when we asked about where we could get a bottle of wine….he went to his own apartment and literally GAVE us a bottle of his own wine. We did reimburse him as we left, but that is indicative of the service. The room was a little small, but really tastefully done and the lounge on the floor...

「The motel is very easy to locate and close to supermarkets, parks, shopping centre and eatery. Nicely decorated with heat pump installed which is seldom found in NZ. Also, staff are very friendly and cheerful making you feel warm. Will stay again on our next visit.」
