We love the feeling of total removal from normal life; never having to see/speak to other people and just being completely alone. "It’s a good choice for staying near the lake. We stay there for a couple of days every August. It looks like the rooms were upgraded since last year. Beds are comfortable. Pillows are really, really comfortable. No restaurant in the building, but it shares a parking lot with Shoney’s, where they have a fantastic breakfast buffet. On the other side of the building there’s a convenience store with a couple of restaurants. Desk staff is always friendly and accommodating. "
