This bed and breakfast was peaceful, lovely, clean, and comfortable. A truly delicious breakfast. Charming, warm, and helpful owners. Two fantastic over look views - one from the back deck of the home and the other from a slight hike a few hundred yards from the property. A quaint, historic town, in which I can recommend the Italian restaurant and the train station museum. We stayed in the Magnolia Room which is quite large and offers a jacuzzi tub and a shower. The bed had the softest sheets I have ever experienced.

Owners/hosts could not have been more friendly or helpful. Delicious breakfasts each of the 3 days we stayed. Incredible views from back deck and brief walk to Bee Rock Overlook. Our room was furnished with beautiful antiques. Very comfortable bed and bedding. We enjoyed visiting Muddy Pond Mennonite community. Ate a great lunch at The Front Porch General Store and Deli. The Appalachian Center for Craft in nearby Smithville had an interesting gallery and beautiful handmade items in the giftshop.

Clean, beautiful, and relaxing!

The house and grounds are beautiful and in a safe, quiet area. Mirtha and Mike are friendly, gracious hosts who aim to please. The breakfast was delicious, and they accommodated one of us who requires gluten free, without sacrificing quality. A very pleasant stay, and would love to return!

This was by far the best bed and breakfast we have ever visited. Mirtha has the kindest, most gentle and caring soul. We enjoyed getting to know her and her husband Mike. Breakfast was absolutely superb! Our room and the common areas were pristine. The location of this charming home and the views cannot be beat. We will definitely be back, and we highly recommend this place to anyone traveling near the area.

Beautiful, Quiet, Great Breakfast, Lovely Hosts

- The pics you can find online are great and what led me to reserve a room. And then I arrived! The room where I slept has a window facing East. The view is the same as the uploaded pic, taken from the back porch. To truly enjoy the landscape, have Mike give you directions to the bottom of the overlook. Whoa! - Mike and Mirtha area lovely couple, attentive, and great conversationalists. They also grant quiet privacy and still quickly meet every request they can. - The interior is so beautifully decorated and has just about anything anyone, couple, or family could possibly need. - Don't miss this opportunity.
