"The Pod was amazing, we don’t think the photos do it justice! We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and would love to visit again. Kevin and Michelle have thought of everything and were excellent with communicating details for directions and check in/out times. The location is brilliant, so close to St Ives and Carbis Bay, and the main bus route is right on the main road. Would highly recommend to anyone considering staying here. "

"Wayne and Sue were wonderful hosts and the flat was in a convenient serene location with great views! However, the listing on hotels.com says it is an entire home and despite clarifying with their agents they said this is an independent cottage. This is not the first time they mislead us. The accommodation was good and the hosts were great but the details on hotels.com is not accurate. If you are expecting a while cottage you’ll be disappointed. "

"Nicely appointed apartment in central Camborne with the benefit of allocated secure parking. Whilst I did not make use of the cooking facilities, there is everything you need if you do want to cook and there is a supermarket less than 5 minutes walk away. The apartment was clean and the welcome gifts of a bottle of Spumante and shortbread were a nice touch. "The room was phenomenal, everything was provided by the host prior to our arrival and communication was clear and succinct. The cottage was clean and ready for myself and the family, and we had a great time, it was near St Ives and Carbis Bay which was a simple five minutes walk away from the cottage. The stay would have been better if the parking was clearly listed and that the WiFi signal goes to the rear bedroom as well. But other than that it was a great experience. Would highly recommend...

"We chose Mannings for a second time due to its brilliant location for the theatre and the major bonus of secure parking. As with our previous visit, the staff were warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming throughout our stay. They are a real credit to the hotel. Although comfortable and generally clean, the room was basic, and the decor a bit tired. The bathroom layout in particular is quite tight (at only 5'4", my knees were touching the door when using the toilet). The grout and silicone around the bath and shower are in need of a good deep clean or refresh, as inevitably in a well used room with built up moisture, it was grimy and stained. Appropriate allocation of time for a decent deep clean really would make a world of difference here. As a personal preference, it would be great to see improved in-room coffee options beyond standard instant sachets, and we missed the nice little biscuits provided on our first visit! Breakfast was straightforward and did the job well. The fresh croissants were delicious, and my husband was a big fan of the thick, creamy yoghurt. We really appreciate the location and the lovely hospitality from the team, but a bit more attention to room maintenance and the little details would make a big difference to the overall stay."

"Some hotels give you a room. St Michaels Resort gives you a memory. My partner and I spent three wonderful nights here, and St Michaels became more than simply the place where we stayed...it became part of our Falmouth story. There is something special about the atmosphere: beautiful, peaceful and effortlessly welcoming. Everything came together to make our stay feel genuinely memorable, and we left with that rare feeling of wishing we could remain a little longer. I even bought a few pieces of St Michaels merchandise because I wanted to take a small part of the experience home with me. That probably says more than any ordinary five-star review could. Falmouth gave us the scenery, but St Michaels gave the trip its heart. Thank you for hosting a chapter of our lives that we will always remember. We arrived as guests, left as admirers, and will certainly return. Samuel"
