I intentionally stopped staying at "Red Roof Inn's" 20 years ago, as it was the worst of all "motel" experiences. I gave this a chance because it was advertised as "Plus ," offering a "Premium" experience. It wasn't. It was a Red Roof Inn motel if it was instead a hotel. No on-site parking. Lobby not air conditioned. Only 1 working elevator. No breakfast service - not even coffee. Rooms smelled. Hallways smelled. Bed uncomfortable. Linens and towels of poor quality. (2nd room didn't even have towels, and had to be asked for.) Refused to clean rooms during stay. Only 2 positives: free access to local professional gym and decent water pressure in the shower. That's it.

Our apologies for any issues with the air conditioning, the guest parking lot, any bad odor in the hotel, for the quality of the linens, and for the comfort level of your bed. The staff should have cleaned your room if you requested to have it cleaned and we're sorry if they didn't. The lobby also should have had coffee from 7AM to noon and we're sorry if it did not. I have stayed here on multiple trips. Always have allowed an early check-in without a fee. Parking is a little weird in that it is across the street, but there are spots out front to drop off stuff before moving it over. Room is clean and sink is outside from the shower/toilet area, good perk. Monica at the desk was great and we will be back.

Hotel was very clean and smelled great. It was a very convenient location for Nationwide Arena, which is where we were going. Hotel has parking, but the lot is across the road from the hotel which was annoying, but not terrible. quiet area, lots of food options. Rooms could use some maintenance as there was a few things broken in our room. Overall, would stay here again.

Red Roof Inn is a budget friendly property that is clean, well maintained, and staffed by friendly, helpful people. It is right across the street from the Columbus Convention Center so a great place to stay if your attending a conference, convention, etc.

This is a good hotel if you want to be across the street from the convention center but don’t/can’t pay for the Hilton or Hyatt. There is a weird smell in the hotel, and the rooms. It appears clean, but the weird smell did. It go away and it was throughout the hotel. There are no extras here. No breakfast, no pool, no fitness room, nothing. So it is an ok room in a great location.

decent beds, the smell of weed and vanilla was heavy. i thought it said complimentary breakfast and there isnt. staff was really nice, but the lack of onsite parking wasnt the best. luckly i got parking at the convention center.

I did not feel safe leaving our room. There was yelling and screaming all night and people hanging around the lobby that did not appear to be staying there. I would not stay here again. There also seemed to be a language barrier with front desk personnel.

The good- the entire staff is friendly, helpful and hard working. The cleaning staff was constantly cleaning and trying to make the hotel smell nice. The bad- the whole hotel reeks of cigarette smoke. Our suite was nonsmoking and we could barely stay in the room. Room 302 was always ajar with different people in and out. It was very odd. First morning we wake up to 4 police cars and yelling. Apparently a woman (homeless) assaulted one of the guests. They definitely need security to re-enforce paying guests are the only people in the hotel. I would not stay at this hotel again. I feel terrible for the staff that has to work there. They are the only bright light of this establishment!

$2 dollar fee if you use safe. I have traveled worldwide and have yet to hear of this. No decent coffee is available in the morning. Also a rare occurrence. Pay extra for cleaning of room???? I don't like being nickel and dimed. I would discourage friends from skip this hotel. It was also stuffy.

The original room I booked was switched before I checked in and I got a room with 2 beds instead of one. I also found a random plastic bottle with old milk in it under the bed as well as popcorn and other crumbs. Very dirty room
