I wish I would’ve gotten to have the breakfast and participate in the cocktail hour that I had paid for, however; my boyfriend and I had to go up and down the stairs TEN (literally T E N) times to try to get into our room because the key cards would not work. Rather than offer to change our room, we had to ask for this to be done and still had the same issues. After an hour and a half, we were completely over it and left the hotel and had to find a quick stay elsewhere. There was only one receptionist on duty and she was trying her best to manage the requests of everyone from check-in to extra blankets, etc. The manager called me the next day after I requested for the corporate email, but only to place the blame on the receptionist rather than take accountability. Shestated that it was because the date wasn’t changed on the doors and that she was unaware of the situation because the receptionist did not let her know. Whatever that means. I find it strange that only my boyfriend and I had these issues and that everyone else was able to check into their rooms with no problems. I am extremely disappointed in the Embassy Suites. I have stayed at several locations for years and they are usually my top choice, but this particular location, I am NOT fond of. The inside was merely OK, and only one of 3 elevators appeared to work, an that one was very sketchy and made really loud noises. Needless to say, this was a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE and we will not be booking at this location again.
