"I booked this room because it was the closest to the hospital, what a mistake. For $80. it was terrible. Updated but in terrible condition. Smelled like insecticide. Mattress was ripped. Towel and a bar of hand soap was the only amenity. Worst hotel/motel I have ever been in. Would have turned around and walked out if I had not be so very tried. Staff at the hospital said "didn't you read the reviews"? Do not book!

"Does not at an aura of safety. Included breakfast had two mini muffins available. Not two types. The entire available breakfast was comprised of two mini muffins. "

"Do not stay here. The staff Jarod was wonderful and kind but this hotel is disgusting and there were drug deals in the parking lot at prostitutes in the lobby. Blood on the room walls, and brown stains on the beds. Rooms were filthy and doors don't close properly or lock."

"We came to visit South Carolina for the MLF All American tournament that my husband fished in. We originally had another hotel booked but we came up a few days early and decided to check out this hotel because they were always hosting part of the event. So we checked in and loved the location and the hotel it self. Front desk staff are so nice and helpful. Explained that we canceled our other hotel and made a 2nd reservation with them and asked if we could stay in the same room all week and they allowed us to so we wouldnt have to pack up again. The room we had was a King with jacuzzi tub and the room was large with a pull out couch as well. The bathroom was big and the tub was awesome being able to relax and soak after a long day of fishing. The hotel was very clean. The beds were so comfortable, rooms were dark with the curtains and nice and cold when sleeping. They had a breakfast every morning but we left too early in the mornings, it wasn't free but we didnt even get the chance to check it out so I cant comment on it. We used the pool, the pool had a lot of chlorine in it but understandable as its a hotel had the room nice and warm so while in the pool you were totally comfortable. The hotel is located very close to dining options, so close you can walk. Mall is 2 mins up the street and lots of shopping around. We will definitely stay at this hotel when we are in the area again!"
"The only saving grace honestly is the awesome woman who works in the mornings doing breakfast. She is always so polite and helpful. We have always enjoyed her demeanor over our visits. The property on the other hand is significantly degraded. The staff did not follow through with needs even when addressed many times with different staff being asked for the needs. Breakfast is a mixed bag, they have cereal and muffins always with instant grits and oatmeal available. The hot food is usually a meat and eggs or potatoes and eggs. Get to the dining room at least an hr before it is done serving or you may miss the hot portion. The pool area really makes the property but they need to do maintenance on the ceiling desperately. The hot tub is nice after a long drive. The floors were very dirty and that was consistent through out the building, a simple pass or two of a vacuum would work wonders for the hallways. The room was typical size and does have a microwave and mini fridge which is very nice. The issue we had was the floor looked as if it had not been vacuumed in a long while, the bed linen did not seem fresh at all and we definitely did not sleep in the bedding. The chair in the room was completely torn up, even missing a complete/large corner of apolstery from the back of the chair. There was a used soap bar in the tub and they were out of conditioner and body wash on the wall, and a very small amount of toilet paper. We asked for them to be replenished but was ignored."
"Starting with the good: staff was friendly, room was clean, the shower water pressure was awesome, one of the best Continental breakfast, the bed was comfortable. What we didn’t like was the room was small, air unit was from hotels built back in the 80’s, we had trouble getting a comfortable temperature, even tried to turn it off. When turning it off the fan continued to run. And did I mention it was loud. The furniture was like stuff you would find in a dorm room. The had this desk chair that was not sturdy. My husband was sitting in it when barely move and chair tipped over. Lastly the pillows were very flimsy."
"The room was spotless!! I enjoyed the shower with glass doors. The staff was great and very helpful. The Breakfast was excellent!! The seasoning was spot on and great variety of breakfast options to choose from."
"They have done a good job of updating the rooms although our bathroom was tiny and that was the only place I could find both a mirror and plugs. They need a mirror over the desk like area with plugs for hair tools. Do NOT drive a taller vehicle up to the check in area. 6 feet is the maximum height that will fit in the lower garage. We had to do a very tight turn around, check in and unload and then move our vehicle to the parking garage behind the hotel. There were hotel access doors on the upper level, two sets of manual doors which makes it very cumbersome for taking luggage in and out. There is a fridge in the room and a coffee maker that takes those teabag type coffee servings. Don’t waste your time, it was awful. VERY LIMITED hours to get coffee and/or food in the lobby area. I think it ends at 10AM. No complimentary coffee is available, or water. Ample place to place your luggage on “racks” inside the room. No personal safe in the room. Good place for a quick one night stay with plans to eat all meals out. Don’t bring valuables you will not keep in your possession at all times, such as a iPad or even controlled medications because of the lack of a safe. Staff was very polite, elevators were roomy and quick. We did not use the outside area or fitness center."
