"Good"

"This hotel is located right across the street from the train so it was super easy to get to all areas of Washington DC. There is also a Trader Joe’s next door if anything is needed. However, it needs a big remodel. The tub was peeling, shower head was about to fall off, beds were hard and the floor was dirty when we checked in. Only 1 elevator was working so you had to take the stairs. Be careful because the stairs had puke in them and smelled so bad. When we went to the pool the first time there were no towels. We called the front desk and they told us they wouldn’t send any up but instead we had to go down 9 floors to get them. This hotel is good for location but if you want something clean and updated go somewhere else. "

"The rooms were comfortable and basic amenities were provided which leads to a functional feel vs elegance. The staff was by far the best part of the stay. From the time I checked in until my departure I have nothing but good things to say about the staff. The restaurant and bar Mica was spacious and comfortable. A very nice selection at the bar and the food menu was also a pleasant surprise. Blanca and Hana waited on us for a Saturday evening meal and drinks and they too were especially helpful, attentive and provided outstanding service that should be complimented! If you find yourself at that bar ask Blanca for an Emerald Gimlet (it's not on the menu) and you will be pleasantly surprised!"

"There was a huge confusion upon check-in; hotel front desk manager was blaming Expedia for not paying them. He went on to demand I pay for the hotel stay immediately and provide another card. He mentioned they kept trying to charge the card on file and payment did not go through. after 30 minutes or so, he finally said everything looked fine after an update and provided the room key."

"My room was never cleaned. Asked for clean towels and new sheets and housekeeping told me to go down to the front desk. Front desk and management were no help to the matter either as they told me that I would receive what I needed, but nothing was delivered to my room. "
