"The guy who takes care of breakfast is really nice and does a good job. Breakfast istypical for this kind of hotel, nothing special. (Hint, hint-Like whipped topping, frozen berries to put on the waffles and in yogurt) We've been staying here for years, as I come in for business several times a year. I feel like it's gone a little downhill. The gym was very dirty and dusty. No wipes for equipment and no yoga mats. Our room was supposed to be pet free. Either someone snuck a pet in or we were put in a pet room. Our allergies were terrible. Light bulb out in the room, TV wouldn't connect, phone wouldn't call the front desk. A herd of elephants were playing soccer in the room above us. Called the front desk about the elephants, it helped for about an hour. Tried to call again and no one would answer. Didn't stop until 10:30 pm. It was a tough stay. BUT!! Location of the hotel is fabulous. When I'm not working, when my wife is with me and we ride along the Riverside trail or bring our mountain bikes. The kokopelli trails (mountain biking) are not far. This time we rode our road bikes on the Colorado National Monument loop with was fantastic. "

"The only it really issue is I had a 3 o’clock check-in time but they weren’t ready till 430. I called to see if I can get in early at 1 o’clock with a side of an early charge but do I get a discount for for a late check-in? "
