"Fabulous stay, had read some reviews and was a little concerned.
Close to the playa de palma with all the bars and restaurant. The area around the hotel was quiet with a great spar supermarket selling freshly made sandwiches.
The breakfast was great so much choice from a full english to cereals, fruit, cheese and ham.
The room was lovely nice and clean with a really comfortable double bed.
All the staff in the hotel were friendly and helpful.
Would definitely recommend and would stay again."
Bikini Island & Mountain Hotel Es Trenc – Adults only
2/10 Terrible
"Extremely disappointing experience and absolutely not reflective of the branding, price point or photos online.
The hotel felt chaotic, poorly maintained and far from the luxury boutique escape it claims to be. Cleanliness and hygiene were a major issue throughout our stay - including hairs in room and mouldy water bottle provided in our room.
The most concerning incident happened at 7am when a large flower tile attached to the ceiling crashed down onto the outdoor seating on out balcony, waking us up suddenly. A serious safety concern and completely unacceptable.
Service was inexperienced, sloppy and unhelpful throughout. Common areas were untidy, the food was very average, and the overall atmosphere lacked any sense of refinement or comfort.
Ironically, the gym was probably the best facility - but even that was dirty and poorly maintained.
We booked this as a special birthday weekend and ended up leaving early and relocating to Palma because the hotel simply did not feel clean, safe or relaxing.
Would not return or recommend."
"The accommodation was brilliant, super modern and comfortable large rooms. The beds were soft and the bathroom was very spacious.
Breakfast was great - lots of options and my mum who is gluten free was tailored to with various options. Also loved that there was matcha available!!
Beach was literally across the road with super clear water. Walking distance to lots of restaurants and local shops.

"Amazing property and staff. We really enjoyed our time here. The breakfast was amazing and both indoor and outdoor pools were stunning. Our rooms were sparkly clean too! Highly recommend "
"I read some of the reviews and was worried but actually could not fault it. From check-in to check out everything was great! Yes, the walls are a bit thin but it’s hotel living, so expected some noise. The brunch is amazing - hot breakfast, continental breakfast, fruit, smoothies, great coffee but not great breakfast tea (maybe bring some Tetley tea bags if you are a Tea-Jenny!) I can see that it would get busy in the peak season but for a few days everything was great. Staff in dining room were particularly nice and did not judge if you had a vanilla slice/Danish pastry on the same plate as your eggs and bacon! 😳 250 yards to the beach and, if the sun shone, all you need. The resort is predominately German but we didn’t see any hassle from stag/hen do’s and if you fancy a good night out, Cafe Bar De Zaak had German karaoke which everyone sung along to! La Rosa and bar 1955 were also great choices for either a slow sundowner or a full meal. "
