Friendly staff, clean, good showers, quite happy but let down by unbearably hot dormitory - yes the weather was hot but the fact the windows in the room didn’t open more than 10cm did not help. Also the hostel had a strangely impersonal vibe

Close to everything. Easy to get to the city center and the Hbf. Easy to check in and get to the room. Turned out it I had bedbugs in the room, so I’m covered in bites. But we solved it on the hostel. You hear everything, so the dudes that showered on Saturday to Sunday at like 1 and singing I could hear it all.

I know hostels can be noisy, but screaming and shouting at 2am, 4am and 6am was too much even for me. Even the earplugs I had didn’t block it out. Staff were great though, would just be nice to see some ‘Be respectful of other guests’ signage around to remind the serial shouters.

location was great and in a very close distance to the train station. and the central attractions. Cleanliness, was good for the amount paid. bed linings were clear and ready to be fitted to the bed by ownself. Staff were helpful but very busy all the time dealing with customers. Facilities needed for a backpacker were sufficient: WiFi, Socket, Space to sit and eat and work and enjoy the time. Bar and reception area was however, noisy and tiny and crowded most of the times. Happy to come again if needed for a low budget visit to the city.

Cheap and basic

The accommodation is cheap and basic but is conveniently situated with a 5min walk of the railway station. The rooms were clean and spacious and the beds were comfortable but the bar area was tatty and dull with ripped sofas and I feel there should have been more toilets. Only 2 on each floor so often occupied.

Schmutzige / ungereinigte Sanitäranlagen

Die sanitären Einrichtungen (Dusche, WC) waren die ganze Zeit so schmutzig / ungereinigt, dass eine Benutzung unzumutbar war. Als ich mich an die Rezeption wendete und auf so schmutzige / ungereinigte Sanitärräume verwies, meinte man achselzuckend, das Reinigungspersonal hätte sich krankheitsbedingt abgemeldet und so sei eine Reinigung nicht durchführbar - man verwies mich dann so, dass ich trotz meines Zimmers auf dem 2. OG mich auf den anderen Etagen umschauen solle , ob irgendwo ein WC wäre , was irgendwie noch erträglich wäre - ansonsten meinte man zu mir , dass normalerweise die Sanitäreinrichtungen !!!!! alle 2 Tage !!!!! mal durchgewischt werden , was angesichts von so vielen Gästen , die die WCs gemeinsam nutzen , auch eine ZUMUTUNG ist . Offenbar ist man in diesem Hostel in der Lage , die hohen Zimmerpreise zu kassieren , ohne sich um die Sauberkeit der sanitären Anlagen zu kümmern. Nie wieder so ein Hostel, in dem es so schmutzig ist und wo einem bereits auf den Etagengängen ein extremer Gestank nach Urin entgegenschlägt, wenn man nur an den WCs vorbeigeht.

運が悪かったのか、修学旅行と思われる子供（中学生か高校生か）の集団と同じ日に泊まることになってしまった。夜19時ごろから24時ぐらいまで、廊下を走り回り、ドアをばたばた開け閉めし、奇声がするのを我慢しなければならなかった。とても寝付ける状況ではなかった。 ホテルのスタッフの対応はよく、ドイツ語が全く話せず、英語もカタコトの自分の会話をちゃんと理解してくれた。 ホテルでは無くホステルなので、アメニティ類は最低限（バスタオル一枚と、シャンプーらしきもの。洗面所にはハンドソープ）しか無いので、必要であれば街中で調達すべき。 子供の件がなければ、バックパッカー向けの宿としては問題ありません。
