Great location with tram into cologne just across the road and nice places to eat nearby, only bad points is heating in the hotel hardly working and a electric fuse went in our room so had no power whilst checking out and no staff about even after 09.00

Everything was fine,including cleanliness,the staff was very good and friendly,the internal telephone number to the reception was not displayed only emergency numbers were displayed,the dogs in the reception area were scaring,because the dogs were not settled any time they see visitors,the location of the hotel is very good and close to supermarket, and easy to get transport to city centre,and to the airport

Stinkend und runtergekommen

Das stinkendste, kaputteste und dreckigste Hotel dass ich rund um die Welt je gesehen hab. Es stinkt erbärmlich nach altem feuchtem Haus, nassem Hund und ich weiß nicht was. Die Zimmer sind primitiv und unschön. Sauber ist anders.

Overnatning i Köln

Jeg skulle bruge en overnatning og valgte endnu en gang dette hotel. Personalet er sødt, men hotellet er gammelt. Det er dog en fin løsning til prisen. Selv om jeg ankom lidt sent var de søde at lave aftensmad til mig. Denne gang var der ikke morgenbuffet, men der blev anrettet en fin tallerken med diverse da jeg var den eneste gæst på hotellet.

Frisch gepresster O-Saft, das war das gute am Hotel, der Zustand - Pflegebedürftig, z.B. Duschvorhang wird von Bindfaden gehalten, Waschtischarmartur wird von einem Draht nach unten festgehalten, Heizung springt nicht an, Raucherzimmer auf der Etage....

Hôtel bien situé MAIS odeur de tabac très présente, wc communs très sales et malodorant, plafond de la salle a mangé près à tomber, chambres avec des trous dans les fenêtre laissant passer l'air, lampe de chevet qui ne marche pas, planche de toilette qui ne tient pas, douche avec rideau digne des années 70, on met de l'eau partout.... porte de la chambre avec un vide de 3 cm qui laisse passer la lumière du couloir, essuie de bain avec des énormes trous. Discothèque plus que bruyante et non respectueuse des personnes qui veulent dormir, même après minuit....

Nice location but unhelpful staff

The man at the front desk was quite rude. He insisted I didn't have a booking even after I told him my name three times. It was only after I dug up the confirmation email that he suddenly found my booking. Apart from that, the hotel is in a nice location right next to the train and the forest. Although the pillow was uncomfortable and the hairdryer didn't work, and water from the shower sprayed everywhere. Great breakfast though!

Not Good.

The hotel was average but location was good. At first they said , they do not have any booking for me but later I showed him online and after verifying, he approved me to stay. I didn't get the breakfast on first day due their fault. Although they charged me for that. The building was old and I felt cold in night due to old windows.

Egentlig et pænt hotel, men temmelig slidt. Værelset virkede lidt rodet. Sengene var højere i fodenden, så vi måtte ligge omvendt for at ligge nogenlunde behageligt. Sengelamper var ikke sat i stikket under sengen. Ellers venlig betjening.

The rooms were nice and we enjoyed the breakfast. The only part that made us mad was that they had a party one night with music so loud it would keep us up. We actually tried to go to the party but there was a cover charge that even the hotel guest had to pay for. It should have been free since we had to listen to it all night.

Unlikely to return.

Ideal for visiting the city as only a short walk to train terminus and train every 9 mins - 6 Euro return. But, two very large noisy dogs in reception area at times - would not have gone in had they been there when we arrived! Staff attitude varied between helpful and grumpy. large room but uncomfortable bed. TV did not work. Wonderful buffet breakfast on the first morning, next two mornings no buffet just a small selection (adequate) brought to our table. The restaurant not open in the evenings. Décor in need of refreshing and laminate flooring in bedroom had many gaps in the end joints.

Luksus til en meget fair pris

Jeg havde booket dobbeltværelse - og det viste sig, at være to dejlige store værelser, som var lagt sammen. Meget flot indrettede værelser med farver, som gav liv. Morgensmadssalen var flot udstyret - og salen, hvori morgenbuffetten stod, var imponerende udsmykket med bordpynt, flotte malerier og flygel. Eneste minus var, at man måtte ryge i barområdet. Belligenheden er lige ved en Aldi, så man kan købe godt ind der.

Warning This hotel is a nightmare.

This hotel is the worst hotel We ever have booked, we booked/payed 2 rooms 3 days and had to leave after 1 nights. When we came to the hotel no-one in the reception we had to call to get service one old guy came with the biggest unfriendly dog (Great Dane) we ever seen. We get our rooms 2 floors up no elevator, find our there is no heating in the rooms ask to get some heating the rooms and the (nice) guy tell us this will come, we leave to the city and get back 23.45 open the front door and getting wellcome this time from 2 big Great Dane Barking showing teeth, we close the door and finely did a women & that old guy show and ask the dogs to leave. OK we get back to our rooms and find the roms still are extremely cold 49F/9C, we call and find out this is how it is. No need to tell we left the next morning.

Hotel aus dem letzten Jahrhundert

Bei der Ankunft fühlt man sich in ein Haus aus dem letzten Jahrhundert zurück versetzt. Insgesamt besteht in diesem Hotel ein sehr großer Sanierungsstau. Das Zimmer war sehr einfach eingerichtet und entsprach dem günstigen Preis. Ebenso hat die Sauberkeit im Zimmer, aber auch im Hotel positiv überrascht. Dies hätte man nach dem ersten Eindruck bei der Ankunft, so nicht erwartet.
