Great staff, decent breakfast, comfy beds, good bathroom with hairdryer and warm shower. Good space to store luggage and luggage contents (clothes etc.) Only drawback was that there was no kettle in the room but overall a great stay for a good price!

Easy 5 minute walk to Messe East entrance. Super comfortable room. Soft bed. Good shower. Internet ok. Breakfast excellent choices. Secure luggage storage. Walking distance to trains.

The room was nice and cozy but the beer at the bar was disgusting and the waitress never gave a menu and didn’t understand basic English. The A/C didn’t work but the complaint never addressed

Review by travelling ambulatory wheelchair user

I stayed in Ibis Köln Messe for three nights. The hotel was modern, there was step free enterance and two elevators. I stayed in an accessible room as I'm an ambulatory wheelchair user. The room worked well for my needs. The room was spacy, it had hard floor and the shower was wheelchair accessible. There was a shower chair that was attached to the railing that could be moved to different positions or removed. The bathroom door was a sliding door and there were no doorstep. The room had full body mirror and the bathroom mirror was adjustable. The bed was accessible only from one side and from the foot end. Only thing that didn't work for me was that there were only two power outlets in the room and those were on the writing desk. There was no power outlets near the bed. I had to use an extension chord to get electricity for my CPAP. Two power outlets are too little in my opinion for this kind of room as people may have e.g. power chairs or other medical equipment that needs to be charged or plugged in. The room wasn't dirty but it wasn't super clean either. The soap was almost out since the day I arrived and even though I asked for a refill I never got it. Otherwise the service in the hotel was excelent. The staff were super nice and helpful. For an example they offered to help me with my luggage without needing to ask them first and after my first night I was asked if the room was sufficient for my accessibility needs. These kind of seemingly little things matter.

Ich war schon öfter hier. Das Personal wie immer total freundlich. Die Lobby wurde gerade renoviert, aber alles sauber. Das Frühstück war dieses Mal nicht ganz so gut. Aber ich würde immer wieder hier übernachten.

Ich hab noch nie gehört dass mir jemand am Empfang befiehlt ich möge bitte den Stift in die Hand nehmen. Also vorher gab's das Dokument nicht. Allgemein etwas sehr seltsame Umgangston. Zimmer/ Bettzeug. Klar dass es nichts jedes Mal gewaschen wird. Aber zur Hygiene gehört schon, dass wenn es fleckig und gelb wird, man es austauscht.
