Causeway Hotel

"The hotel does have a major advantage of its location, they don’t need to make big efforts to fill the rooms. Despite that, the staff was very welcoming and professional and the property is well maintained (the best that can be done with a listed building). The food quality….. that’s another story. Definitely not up to the standards for such a hotel. More like the food from petrol stations on motorways. It was a mistake to dine there and maybe I should have searched for decent restaurants in the vicinity. Breakfast also quite poor both quantity but mainly quality."

"Quality of facilities, staff attentiveness and good attitude. Loves the fridge being restocked each day for free. The hot tubs, pools and cabanas were brilliant. Breakfast in the river room."

"The Salthouse is in a beautiful setting overlooking the sea, our room with two queen beds was spacious and very comfortable the large bathroom immaculate. Food and service for dinner and breakfast excellent."

"Nice clean spacious room. Check in staff very efficient and friendly. Bar staff were very good. A few residents coming in late looking for certain things. Bar staff went above and beyond to help them."

"Room and reception clean most of the staff pleasant. Off the beaten track only walks possible. Having no restaurant is a big issue."

"We stayed here for 1 night after attending a wedding in Ballymena. The hotel has a welcoming, comfortable feel about it as a first impression and, the staff were very helpful from the start. Our room was OK but the bathroom a bit tired looking. Breakfast choices very good."
