Great location and very cozy room. The shower is quite small for tall people but it does the job. The staff super helpful. They helped us to find a restaurant when every one we called said they were fully booked. Definitively I would repeat this place.

We loved our stay here! We were lucky and got a view of Gran Paradiso from our room, and had a small balcony facing it. The staff was warm and welcoming, breakfast was great, and the hotel location was perfect for exploring the Gran Paradiso park. Highly recommend!

WOW, I absolutely loved my stay in this hotel! I travelled alone, but the whole staff made me feel so welcome and relaxed. The two daughters (around my age) were really helpful, regarding practical 'stuff'; and I really appreciated their enthusiasm and support regarding me climbing the Gran Paradiso summit! The breakfast is incredible! Luckily all the hours of walking evened it out calory wise ;). Hotel Herbetet is located in beautiful and very quiet Valnontey, ideal starting point for many magnificant (long) hikes. I wish I could have stayed longer, this region is perfect for nature-loving hikers. The nice little mountain village Cogne is just a quick walk (or drive) away and provides you with cute shops, very good espressos, additional restaurants an a small supermarket. I will definitely return to this hotel some day (hopefully in the near future)!

Personeel zeer behulpzaam, spreken zeer goed Engels.
