There was absolutely nothing to like about this property but the price. The smell inside the room was unbearable. The room was damp and musty. The night receptionist was very nice and helpful.

Was really disappointed in our stay. The pictures looked wonderful, our room was not. The floors were disgustingly dirty (like left dirty foot prints in the shower dirty). Furniture was stained horribly and the inside of the bathtub had even been painted. Breakfast consisted of bagels with no toaster, waffles, and oatmeal. I had high hopes, I love historic buildings, but we will not be back.

The staff was amazing, but the room was disgusting. There was mode on the shower curtains. The water wouldn’t go down in the tub nor the sink. Honestly, this is the first time I ever booked a hotel and this was not a good experience.

As someone who truly appreciates history, I found this stay to be incredibly charming. The Inn has a rich historical feel, and that character is very much part of the experience…which I personally loved. The parking is conveniently located right in front of the Inn, and the air conditioning worked well, which made the stay comfortable. It’s important to come with the right expectations, this is a historic property, and while some updates have been made, it doesn’t have every modern upgrade we’re all used to. A little patience and understanding go a long way..but in return, you get a unique and authentic experience. The location is wonderful..very central, with a beautiful park nearby, along with pickleball and tennis courts. The surrounding neighborhood is perfect for walking, with lovely homes and a peaceful atmosphere. Overall, a charming stay for anyone who enjoys historic properties and their unique character.

This is definitely a historic hotel. Unfortunately, the shower head had black mold and it was leaking pretty badly. The staff did everything in their power to fix the situation. They moved out room over and then decided to move us to a suite. Unless you're about 5 feet tall, there was no getting under that shower head to shower properly. There was Chinese food left in the refrigerator that stink pretty badly. The blanket was not on the bed either. Not such a great experience.

The front desk staff did not know how to access Expedia travel and subsequently told me that my reservation did not got through and my card was declined. She stated that I had to register and pay at the counter which I did. After returning home I discovered that I was double charged. Expedia went back to them a couple of times but stated that the manager said that didn't happen. I clearly paid twice for the same terrible room and provided bank statements as backup. Two months later the issue just went away except for me paying twice.

Advertisement said Historic aka “old” and neglected. A beautiful place once with a great history but it’s over. A beautiful but closed bar with hand painted murals that was charming in its day. The room was small, lacking outlets, bathroom without a shelf or hook, curtains that could not cover the windows completely to block out the stadium light glare from the 8 pickle ball courts outside our window. We had a king bed with 3 pillows so I asked for another pillow at the desk and the girl said , no we don’t have any! The breakfast was good coffee, pop tarts, pacs of oatmeal, and waffle mix next to the gallon syrup jug. Breakfast was in a room without A/C in 90 degree heat. We walked across the street to a coffee shop to eat. I never saw another registered guest. Most days no one was at the desk till 4 pm. I definitely felt like the experience was out of the movie “The Shining” Definitely a stay I won’t forget.

This place was very run down and the hot water ran cold when someone in the building flushed the toilet. There was a lamp that didnt plug into anything or turn on, and you could hear everything outside the door as well as above the room including running water from the shower upstairs. Will not be visiting again. Gordan ramzy needs to see this place, because it would his biggest project yet.
