My family and myself stayed there Friday night as we were attending a baseball game Saturday. Room was clean, affordable, and the staff was great! The free breakfast was decent for what you pay to stay there. Definitely would stay again for game day.

They would not allow us to stay. Said we were too local. We were trying to get closer to little john collessuim for my granddaughters high school graduation at 9 am. We live 30 miles away. I guess they thought we were going to party and tear the place up. Very disappointing.

I am sorry that our No Local policy effected you, but we had to put this policy in place for a reason. We are one of the last ones to put the policy in affect.

the air conditioner could not cool the room. afternoons were unbearable and nights were sweaty. the lights are on auto, so if you did not move for 5 minutes the lights went off. carpet was torn in places avoid the free breakfast- egg omelet consisted of cheese and egg folded over- so hard that it didn't even bend when picked up at one end. I could have tolerated all of the above, but not having AC in South Carolina was a bit much.

The property looks to be recently updated, but our room had ants on every surface except the beds. That was the only saving grace that there wasn't anything wrong with the beds. The lady at the desk was nice, but the ants were still there when we checked out 2 days later.

Easy stay with easy price
Hotel was a very clean, Clemson themed, no frills hotel. Staff was friendly and it looks recently updated. Nice linens and room was modern. The only drawback was a loud plumbing noise that occurred through the night, but all else was good

Property is beside a train track that wakes you every hour. Horrible highway noise as well. First room smelled of strong garlic. Moved to second room and smelled horrible too but like fish. Shower is like the size found on a cruise ship and door leaks. No working fan in the bathroom. Television had no remote. Had to go down and get another remote from the front desk and it didn’t work either. Breakfast was so lacking I could not believe they had the nerve to say it was included. Had non-refundable room but left two nights early and lost over $200.00 simply because I couldn’t deal with a second night there.

Rip-off at Game Day prices
Prices were jacked up for gameday as expected, but this place was decent. Good location, included breakfast, had a 24 hour desk. It was fine. Our first room reeked of smoke but we were able to quickly change. Our phone never worked. Had this been a $200 room, I’d give it awesome reviews. For $500 a night, the crappy thin towels and room cleaning only when requested was just a bad money grab. Book early and elsewhere.

Bathrooms are seriously in need of remodel.
The rooms are very old and run down. The bathrooms are disgusting and dirt has accumulated on the walls, tile, floorboard. The showers are old and I won’t even shower in them because they are moldy. I took pictures but I won’t post them because it’s too embarrassing.

The location was perfect for my travel, however, the inn is old and in need of improvement. The room itself was comfortable, but the bathroom had light fixtures that were not working and a roll in shower that was dangerous.
