"This hotel is not what I expected and I knew it the moment I drove up when I only saw 2 cars in the parking lot. The old metal staircase leading up to the 2nd floor was dirty in every corner. I walked into the room and my shoes stuck to the floor everywhere that I walked. There was a brown stain on the chair next to the bed that I noticed right away. The bedside tables were visibly dirty with some sort of sticky substance, probably the same sticky substance that was on the floor. There was a bright blue Ethernet cord coming out of a large hole in the ceiling. The outside noise of the traffic was so loud because of the large gap on the bottom of the hotel door. The front desk said someone would only be there until 11pm. I was traveling alone and I got that sick feeling and did not feel safe at all. I called Hotels.com and they were unable to do anything because the hotel manager refused to give me a refund. There is no reason to book with hotels.com if they can’t help when things like this happen. I lost over $300 and went on my own to book with Hilton. Never again!!"
